Soprano's Pizza (Magnolia)

While staying overnight is Seattle I started driving North towards Ballard and noticed Soprano's Pizza in Magnolia on my map. What a wonderful stop it was for dinner! 😀

Someone was sweeping the outdoor seating area when I arrived which immediately made an initial impression of "cleanliness" on me. Upon stepping inside the restaurant the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. (Excellent 1st impression on a first-time customer)

A friendly voice welcomed me and followed by taking my order. The food came out and was HOT!! :-) The presentation of the food was basic but that can also meant to me that DELICIOUSNESS may follow-suit!!

Their menu is losded woth various food options!! From subs to calzones, from pizza to pasta...there is something on there for everyone!!

How was the food...?? I was spot-on! The baked spaghetti, garlic bread, and BBQ ribs were quite good. (Yes! Ribs!!) Meaty!! The spaghetti sauce was yummy too!! The noodles....soft, slightly chewy....delicious!! There was also a nice compliment of cheese over the top!! Garlic bread was also a nice side to have. (I enjoy playing with my food sometimes so bread provides options for that to happen) LOL

All in all, this was an excellent choice for dinner and I recommend...

I just wanted to share the experience I received from the delivery driver and person inside of the store. I called to make sure the correct delivery time estimate, because the app I used to order was not telling me the correct time, at which point the man sounded annoyed and unhappy to be answering another question for a customer, and then when the driver arrived with my food, the only two things he said to me, in an extremely annoyed tone of voice was , "Food's here." He had to call me once and leave a message because I don't get the best reception in my home, but I got the second call right away, and he said he same exact thing. No thank you, no have a good night, nothing. I apologized about the missed phone call and explained my situation, but he just seemed so annoyed. I understand that it is late at night and you may be tired, or you are annoyed with your customers on a weekend night, but you are in customer service in the food industry. You should at least say , "Thank you" to the people who pay your paycheck. I will not be ordering again from this establishment, and unfortunately, you could have had the opportunity to gain a...

Pizza was yummy, would totally order again. Really liked the light, thin-but-not-too-think crust 👌🏼The chicken ranch pizza had good flavor, very enjoyable.

Salads and pastas are another matter entirely. Caesar salad dressing tastes bottled and lacked robustness of flavor. Little packaged croutons. Generous portion are least (small is big enough for two to share), but the flavor wasn't appetizing so I barely ate any of it. Then the pasta - complete blandness. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli was flavorless. Pretty sure this is not house-made Alfredo sauce. What a disappointment. Adding a lot of salt only helped nominally. As well, the lasagna was more like a ton of cheese melted over the most boring-tasting meat sauce imaginable wedged between pasta sheets. No redeeming this dish either. The garlic bread that comes with pasta is tasty, so there's that?

Would never order pasta or salad here again. Stick...
