Updating my raving review from 5 stars to 1 star for how we parted ways with each other. 1 star reflects: their lack of sympathy and empathy, a 1 strike no show rule, lack of communication, lack of humanity, lack of respect for loyal customers, lack of professionalism.

I have been a loyal customer since March 2017 and even supported them through COVID. I have never once not shown up to an appointment until I was going through some major personal stuff this past October: I called 2 hours to cancel prior and even paid the late fee. They didn't like that I was a no show (shouldn't the fee offset whatever $ they lost from my cancellation?) and they didn't like that I wasn't in a good mood (is anyone ever in a good mood during a break up situation? sorry for not wanting to talk to you...), and they didn't like that my lashes weren't full (isn't that why we get fills?! also, where is the empathy - clearly I had been crying and not in a good place), and they didn't like that I only pay $60 when they wanted to charge $100 like other clients (yet they never asked me to pay the higher amount and prior told me it was because I was a loyal customer).

All the above was texted to me like a break up text as long as a Costco receipt lol. All around a bad ending to what I thought was a good business with good practices. I'd proceed with caution -- there are plenty of other lash techs in Seattle!!

Important things to note: They break up with you by denying your booking requests on Vagaro then sending you a long text They want you to pay cash (they used to take Venmo) for a tax advantage The way Mimi tapes your eyes/lashes will hurt - I suggest booking with Taylor if you don't want to be in pain during your fills They like you more when you bring them gifts like Boba or free flowers...

The work done went smoothly. Twice she tried to overcharge - as they are very strict on time between visits and associated costs. Both times I was correct - but it was very uncomfortable and without apology. Communication was difficult with Mimi and I would default to just letting her do what she felt was best. I made appointments twice and twice I received a Cancellation Text. No explanation, No phone call explaining why I just reserved online but then was told - Cancelled. The second time I called a person picked up and basically said sorry, those spots are taken.

I found a new place after two visits that does the same quality work, communication is easy and fun, fees are amazingly refreshingly fair comparatively. I would not recommend Sisters' Beauty Bar. 3 stars as they did...

I have been to other lash bars and they do not come close to the experience that you get from Sisters Beauty Bar. They are so gentle that I almost thought they weren't doing anything. My lashes last sooooo much longer than when I used to go to others. I get my lashes done every 2 weeks but with Sisters Beauty Bar I could get away with going every month....but I won't because I love them so much I don't want to skip on seeing them every two weeks. Also, my eyes used to twitch at my previous lash person and I always thought it was me..but I realized the eye twitching was a result of anxiety getting my lashes done by someone who doesn't really care about her clients. my eyes no longer twitch, my lashes no longer look bare after a week, and I no longer feel like my lashes are...
