Visiting family and took a trip to Bodega Bay, our ritual is always to stop for taffy. The worst experience we ever encountered , cashier was unprofessional. We purchased several bags of candy as my sister cashed out first. She asked the cashier for a bag like the ones that the 1lb candy comes in, just an empty bag and the cashier seemed to have issues giving up a single bag. My sister told her that she wanted it because she was planning on splitting the bag of candy she purchased with our mom. Cashier told her that you cannot split the bag as we said it’s already been paid, cashier was insisted that the bag of candy after purchase cannot be split and that she would have to call her manager for approval, and would not give a bag. We told her that was insane and that she could not tell us how or what we do with our candy. Totally unacceptable also not to mention our candy of taffy has nats and bugs within the mixture of the candy, found a spider incased in taffy. Never again so disappointed because that was our to go place...

Took my mom to the ocean. As we were driving through I saw this place and decided to stop.

The building is so cute...pink and white stripped...you cannot miss it.

Because of covid...you have to wait outside until they let you in.

It is a small place...but they found room to put so many different flavors of taffy...sweatshirts...little souvenirs and other candy.

It was fun looking at all the different flavors. They have them bagged by individual flavors which is priced as follows...

1/4 lb. 1.50 1/2 lb. 3.00 1 lb. 5.00

or by chocolate mix...dessert mix...fruit mix...classic or caramel mix...1/2 pound is priced at only 3.25.

They have a flavor for everyone. I bought the maple bacon. It is really good...i do not really taste bacon all that much...more like bacon.

I also bought orange cream. So so good

And I bought the dessert bag...i live all of them. The taffy is soft and fresh...it did not stick to my teeth.

This place is a must stop location as it has been for my family for over 20 years. It's in Bodega Bay on the water, so don't expect cheap; but it has all those killer taffy flavors you don't get just anywhere. Doesn't matter what flavors you love; they'll have it. We like the sweet/savory kind, so buttered popcorn is at the top of our list, but any of the cheesecake flavors are killer. Get cinnamon roll flavor if they have it. The kids love the orange creamsicle, and they have legit salted caramels to die for. Great place to stop for road treats on your way out of Bodega Bay towards the south. Just look for the pink and white striped building on the ocean...
