Worst experience ever. We ordered our furniture on 3/8 and were told our furniture would be delivered on 3/28. 5 days prior to the delivery we received a call saying the furniture was on back order and it would now arrive on 4/16. We arranged to donate our old furniture to Habitat for Humanity based on our original delivery date so we were now sitting on lawn furniture. The day of delivery came and we received only 2 of the 5 pieces. The delivery team never checked out the condition of the product and were just in a hurry to move on. The driver told us to call the store to follow up on the remaining pieces. I called the store and they associate I spoke to verified the pieces were in stock and the store manager would give me a call back to find out what was happening with the remaining items. I still have not received a call from the manager. I did then receive a call from a 800 Ashley rep confirming that the delivery went well. I let her know we did not receive the entire order. She told me the other pieces were still on back order. When I shared the information I received from the store and what me email confirmation indicated, she said let me check into it and call you back. I finally received a call back at 1:30 and was told the driver did find the remaining pieces on the truck and they would be back with them in around an hour or so. During the time we were waiting for the truck to come back we discovered the accent chair was damaged. At 4:30 still no delivery truck so I call the customer service number back and they contacted the driver on a 3 way call and he said he was not coming back and he was 2 hours away. The agent had her supervisor call me back and she arranged for the delivery to be made the next morning and the accent chair to be replaced. When the delivery was made the next day we noticed a mark on the cushion of the wedge and the delivery team also noticed a blue stain on the cushion of the love seat that was delivered the day prior. They took pictures and sent them in. I was contacted later that day by a Rep. to verify that everything went ok with the delivery. I shared the information on the stains and was told she could only process a claim for the item that was delivered that day and I would have to call another 800 number for the piece that was delivered the day prior. Read moreI am not surprised at all the negative reviews that I am reading after the experience I am currently going through with Ashley Furniture. I ordered a bedroom set and had it delivered to my home. The delivery team damaged my headboard and footboard and with knowing they did, they did not have the decency to point it out before leaving. I was not advised about inspecting the furniture with a fine comb prior to them leaving. That SAME DAY of the delivery I noticed the damage and contacted Ashley Furniture in Sebring, Florida (which is the location I made the purchase) and explained to them that I am NOT ok with the furniture that was delivered and asked for a new headboard and footboard. Their response was that they cannot send out new furniture because it has already been delivered. They said they would have to send out for a tech repair. First of all, it is upsetting that with the amount of money I have paid, the only option is a tech repair. I should not have a BRAND NEW piece of furniture REPAIRED because Ashley Furniture’s delivery team damaged the furniture. I should be receiving a brand new UNDAMAGED set. The next issue I am having is that I am STILL waiting for this scheduled tech repair (which I am NOT happy about but they claim that is the only way to handle it). Ashley Furniture was so quick to take my money for the sale, but not to follow up when there is an issue. 2-3 weeks is NOT ok to be sitting here waiting for a tech to come out and look at my furniture. Not once was their “No Refund” policy ever explained to me. With a policy that outrageous, that should be something that is discussed prior to purchase with EVERY customer. I tried explaining to the sales manager Scott in the Sebring location that I would dispute the credit card purchase and his unprofessional response was “Go ahead, we win 100% every time.” So again, here I am waiting for my damaged furniture to be looked at while in the mean time, I am inconvenienced with my clothes and belongings in my garage until this issue...
Read moreTo everyone and anyone looking to buy any item with this store please beware. Their employees either aren't trained correctly or they don't care about their customers. We purchased an item August 2021 financed through Synchrony bank. (Regret being offered to finance by our salesperson Alyssa) We did an exchange through our comfort guarantee warranty. They were giving us the run around on getting our mattress swapped out saying Synchrony had to give us a list of Mattresses we could choose from. Which was a lie they only finance, how would they know what is available at the store🙄 We finally got our mattress swapped out November 28, 2021 told them we wanted to switch our contract to the 60 month offer to which Alyssa is who helped us again said that Synchrony could switch it and I needed to call them (another lie or again not trained correctly) I asked her twice and she confirmed they would. Synchrony said it was an in store purchase and they the store needed to switch the contract. I had already signed thinking it would be fixed (believed Alyssa) and now going through this nightmare of them not upholding contract offered. Have spoken to so many representatives & mangers to no avail. Also saying its not 60 months & that it's not something they offer, which is a lie because we saw it sitting at the table we sat at signing our papers and Alyssa herself told us about it. And them not coming to get the item that I no longer want they say it needs to go through corporate (been through them a million times already as well and they confirmed it'san in storeproblem!) and payments just keep stacking up! We just wanted the contract offered to be upheld so we could keep our item. Now I will be letting family & friends know not do any business with them and if they do don't walk out of their store if its not the contract you agree with.
