La Estrella Market — Local services in Selma

This neighborhood market is a gem. I personally love the Taqueria inside. By far you will get a ome of the best Ranchero and Pastor you will get in Selma! if you’re looking for floors that my you can eat off of, your looking in the wrong place, but if you’re looking for good food, a decent produce selection, and an OK collection of dry goods at OK prices, look no further!

Also, heads up, Google states that closing time is at 9 PM, but the ppl that work there lock the doors around...

Food is delicious and friendly/helpful employees. Please don't be intimidated by the little market or Predominantly Spanish speaking, they are the nicest people and will make you feel so happy you stopped in. Remember to tip the deli workers, they work so hard and you get a very generous serving. Love the combination plates, Carnitas, Asada and Chile Verde. Flour Tortillas are good and the size of a pizza....

I like the meat market, good quality meats. Although some times you walk in the store and it has a distinct odor, quite can't figure it out, some times I think if it as mold or mildew or like a urinal in a mens bathroom, in the store of course it the meat counter area, more towards the back. I'd check that out if I was the owner, it's a smell that is...
