Asoka Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Selma

They had a nice buffet w 3 meats plus vegetarian options. You can also order off the menu. I had the buffet and took a little bit of everything. The spicy things were spicy, but not over-poweringly hot. They had a nice mix of spicy and mild offerings. Naan was made fresh for each customer as needed and i could eat just a basket of their naan and a bowl of their butter chicken sauce and be a happy guy. The owners and staff were all very friendly and hospitable. The restaurant itself was clean and well laid out and nicely decorated given the space they had to work with. It is by no means a hole in the wall and would be a nice place for business lunches, dates, or just a nice bite to eat. Hi I came from Seattle wa to treat my back problems I was staying @ hotel in Salma today I decided to order to go food from Ashoka restaurant in Salma so I order tandoori chicken and fry fish and one garlic naan be honest they give me alat of chicken and fish but it was very bad I mean fish was totally taste less no spices and I think chicken was at least one month old inside when I try to open the leg piece inside u can tell it’s very old meat and I order one garlic naam it was uncooked I mean raw atta so I just want to suggest the owner pls give less food in one order but food should be Fress and delicious service was very very good I m sorry but this was my honest review now I m still hungry all the food goes to garbage...

Asoka has THE BEST Indian food in the valley. We’ve tried so many Indian restaurants and this is by far, our favorite! We’ve been going here for years. We usually order to go, but we do dine in from time to time. The owners & staff are always so welcoming & remember us which is very sweet. Their goat curry & shahee panner are some of our favorites. Outstanding butter chicken & saag paneer too. Honestly, everything is good. We usually buy extra naan so my husband can dip it in the extra sauce, after we’ve eaten all of the chicken/paneer/goat. All four of my kids love it too, so it’s kid approved! My youngest has been eating here since she was in my belly.😆...
