I signed the MPI program with precious management, one that has moved on and the other went to the Tupelo office. Current management is not wanting to honor that contract because I do not have my copy, even though one of the ladies in the office said that they can see I signed this MPI. At this point, I don't even care if I'm right or wrong, but after questioning my bill a couple times, I was told someone would get in touch.... No one did. I had to go up to the office to get a manager to talk to me, and while I will admit I was frustrated, the ladies in that office, aside from Rita, are extremely nice. For anyone that is thinking it, Rita is white and the other 2 ladies I speak of are black. I am very Caucasian so my statement is not based on race; it is based simply on the facts that they seemed decent. However, the Manager at the Senatobia location is extremely arrogant! I asked for his superiors number and he denied me the opportunity; I can only imagine so he can be the only one to get this story out. After having a very bad experience with Scott Petroleum we were very frustrated and soon to be without heat, hot water, or a stove for over a month after moving into our home just a week prior. Candice was able to work quickly and thoughtfully to ensure we’d have propane at our home within the week, ensuring next day service. Stacey was able to share the struggles we were facing with Scott with a technician and got us a brand new propane tank same day, within hours of our call, all without charging us any insane fees, they just made sure we were taken care of and could continue to take hot showers at home. Aubrey was the technician that came to install the new tank. Not only did he install the tank quickly and without issue, he also moved the tank to a safer location, and made sure we had oil to get us through to our next delivery. He then went above and beyond by explaining to me how the propane would work (new to propane as I am) with each of our appliances, ensured everything was back up and running, and was kind as could be...
Read moreGreat time for me to express my sincere disappointment with your company. I just recently found out that we are being charged a monthly fee for not filling our tank on a yearly basis. This charge of $69.00 was left on my doorstep with no explanation. After I called the company, I was told this is a MMR charge. I was never told about this charge or warned that I would be incurring such expense. I have been a customer for 25 years and never been charged MMR charges. Some years we need propane and some years we do not. We use this propane for emergency heat only and do not feel comfortable being charged in this fashion. I believe this is very poor customer service. These charges make me feel extremely dissatisfied with Surburban Gas Company. I pay a yearly tank rental so there is no need to wonder whether this tank is not at our local residence. Why send someone to inspect our tank, verify the tank is full of gas and needs no service, and then charge these useless fees. If you respond, this would just be another justification of what kind of company...
