As a Native Missourian I've driven to and through Springfield and Joplin on I-44 hundreds of times. And gone down to Branson dozens of times on US 65. Missouri though is so much bigger than just the places along the Interstates and major highways. When in Joplin it is possible to get to Branson by going South on Missouri Highway 43 and then East on Missouri Highway 76 with other roads thrown in just for fun.
