The front desk people are very nice but I'm reviewing the actual internet service not them. It's very slow max I've seen running speed tests at random times through the day is 2.2 mbps and that was at 3 am on a Sunday morning. You will have to unplug the router a couple times a day and sometimes even that won't work to get connection. Unfortunately for many people in the area they are the only provider so we are forced to use them. I've checked several other local providers and they do not have service in the area. Even satellite is difficult to get but for the speed provided you are not getting what you pay for at over 100 dollars a month for average of 1.4 mbps.
Edit (8-18-2022)
Update to my review. Their speeds have gone up significantly over the past year, I am now averaging 12 to 13 mbps which is still very low obviously but for DSL and being very rural is actually decent. It's enough for my son to play online games while we also stream on two devices without lag. The technicians are through and very nice. Would recommend if you're seeking internet in the area and can't receive it through more...
Read moreI have no complaints. Moved to a new area and had plans to go to StarLink. But our move was sooo expensive, I didn't really have the $700 to get started at the time. So we elected to try RallyNet. At first, they were saying up to 25mpbs for $100/month. But the day they were coming to set up they called and said we were in an area that offered a new service for $80/month and up to 100mbps!! Score! The connection is very stable and we're getting 50-95 mbps. So far, it's been a great experience. 3 or 4 Xbox's gaming, our TVs streaming and the connection takes it like a champ. Super impressed!! I am now debating if I REALLY need StarLink... 🤔
Update
Still zero issues. Super fast, no lag/very low ping for our gamer kids, and streaming in 4k is no problem at all. We did end up getting the "Mesh" add-on to help get Wi-Fi throughout our large home. That really helped the entire system run efficiently for the entire house. I have no intentions on going to StarLink thus far. RallyNet has been good to us! Best Internet we've had in...
Read moreLets be honest, no there are no other internet providers in the area except for dish type services which stink. My internet connection never goes down because its on a landline, yes you have to get the landline to go along with the internet which does make it a little more pricey but on the lowest package which is the 5g i am capable of running Amazon on my Roku all day, plus another device like my laptop or my phone. if you are watching youtube on your phone and you're surfing on the laptop, and you are running the roku no its not going to work on 5g but for reliable internet that never drops ESPECIALLY if you work from home at times I REALLY don't want any other company. I just wish they would make it so you don't have to have the landline phone to get...
