Absolutely amazing experience. First restaurant i’ve eaten at in Seneca and I will definitely be eating there again soon. The waitress was so sweet and welcoming and very human. She treated us as if we’d known each other. The other people dining were also very friendly as well. The food was cheap, delicious and filling. I was a bit nervous of my order because it’s something i love yet rarely get, but they did not disappoint. I had the salisbury mushroom burger, and it was one of the best burgers i’ve had in a long time. Not only that, but it was HUGE, I could only eat half. The bun was crisp and the patty was amazing, however a bit under-seasoned. The sauce did make up for that though, and there were seasonings at the table. The fries and onion rings were also pretty tasty, the fries were unseasoned but again, there were seasonings to use. The onion rings were crispy and just to the right amount. The atmosphere was quiet and minimalistic, exactly what I love to see in restaurants. I am still very shocked at the price, as it was only 5.99...
Read moreBefore you base it off my 5 stars and just hop in the car to head on over to Mama's Place. Let me give a little word of caution. This is a small town, or so it seems to be. If you have sleeve tattoos, identify as a woman but look like a boy and have a wife...you might ought to go on down to McDonald's. The lady that ran the joint, she was a peach. Sweet as a pumpkin pie and lovelier than a dozen roses. But her guests, I am presuming the locals. They wanted to lynch me. The stares, my God. And the comments, well that is for a whole other audience. Just know it wasn't PG. So the reason I gave this a 5 star was because of the sweet woman who got us our food very quickly, got ny wife a to go box and actually acted like we are I. The year 2022. The food wasn't awful, I had biscuits and Gravy and they were typical. The gravy wasn't homemade, it was a little watery. Nothing a little salt and pepper didn't fix. So if your heading to Mama's, remember we don't all...
Read moreMy husband and I ate here. It was our first visit. The waitress was really nice and her service was great. It is an old style café and is small which wasn't a big deal to us but may be to other people looking at their reviews. When we walked in I smelled an odor and as we sat down I looked around and seen someone smoking. I told my husband they allow smoking he wanted to leave but we were really hungry so we stuck it out. There were some flies flying around which is so irritating when your trying to eat but we did take in consideration that the door was being opened a lot during the time we were there and no one can help the flies coming in. There was a man that brought a big fly swatter in and was killing them lol.The food was really good and affordable. However, being that we are non-smokers we were not thrilled that smoking was allowed and due to this we do not plan...
