If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would! I had never gotten a tattoo before and researched tirelessly for the right place/artist. I finally came across The Mountain Mule and Alishia. I fell in complete love with her work, and it's exactly the type of style I was looking for! I was so excited and ready for my appointment, but of course, I had some jitters with it being my first time. Alishia wiped all of it away! Not only was she so patient, she was reassuring, kind, and personable. She went back and forth with me on sizes, placement, and design of my tattoos until it was absolutely perfect. There was absolutely no rush, and she was so understanding. She made sure it was all perfect before we got to the stencils and then was meticulous even once we got to the stencils. Before she got started, she did a little test run with no ink just so I could see how it felt and it instantly put me at ease! The session went by so quickly it seemed like, even with me getting 2 small to medium pieces because she was so fun and easy to talk to! There was, to me, hardly any "pain" at all it was so enjoyable! She is amazing at what she does! The shop is so clean and so nice! Everyone is super friendly! I didn't catch her name, but there was another artist working on someone while I was in there, and even though I wasn't her client, she was still so sweet and friendly to me! I am SO HAPPY with my tattoos and I can't recommend this shop and Alishia enough! It's also a huge plus for me that this is an all female ran place! It made it such a comfortable and carefree environment where it's just all us girls supporting one another! Look no further if you're considering a tattoo! My sister and I got tattoos together using a design we came up. We saw Alishia and she was FANTASTIC! She made us both feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. She made sure the design was exactly what we wanted/how we wanted it. She was super patient and let us talk about it and didn’t rush us through that process. She was very knowledgeable about placement and sizing of the design and didn’t start a thing until we both were satisfied. Her room is SO cute and very clean. The set up is perfect and she does such good work. She’s definitely your go-to girl if you want fine-line work! I’ve been to this shop twice now, and i genuinely do not think i’ll go anywhere else. the artists, welcoming environment, professionalism, and quality of work are top tier. i’ve been to both alishia & zac, and both did amazing when giving me something i absolutely love. alishia did my first piece ever, and made a seemingly nerve wracking experience so so easy! I get complimented daily on the detail & piece overall. I just went to zac, who gave me two, and although I am still fresh into the healing process, i adore them - he was so nice and helped me get exactly what i pictured.
