As far as Habitat stores go this one is one of the cleanest and best organized. Sadly there is a big but... We have always been a supporter of Habitat stores. The money goes to a good cause and we can see the money at work around our county. The but is how they are pricing things now. It doesn't make sense to go to a habitat store to buy something that can be bought new and cheaper at places such as Walmart. I don't see buying used when new is cheaper and if it breaks it's covered. I know they want to make good profit to fund their building projects but they have to understand they're pushing people away because of their high prices. Made a special trip there this morning and walked out with nothing because of the higher than expected pricing. I hope someone sees this and adjusts things...

While we realize the money is going to a good cause, we are not willing to pay the high prices we are seeing lately. These are donated used items. This has been a place people could get some items they may not otherwise be able to afford. These community members are being driven away due to the higher prices. While we are donors ourselves, we are less likely to donate here with these higher prices as we don't feel it's as beneficial to our community as...
