I called Aria about having my watch battery replaced. First off the store doesn’t answer the phone, it was some woman “off site”. I said I wanted to have my watch battery replaced, she asked how long it would take me to get there, their last appointment is 5:30 because they close at 6pm. I told her 15 mins. She said ok, I’ll let them know you are coming. I arrived at 5:26 pm. The guy in the store buzzed me in, I handed him the watch, he glanced at the back, then told me he couldn’t replace the battery “because it has 2”, (which is incorrect, the watch has a single CR 1220 battery which I brought with me). He then told me he didn’t have enough time to do it before he closed, I had to come back.

Well…… I won’t be back. 1) why did they tell me to go there if they weren’t going to replace the battery, 2) this “watch repair” jeweler didn’t know how many batteries are in a G-Shock watch, 3) I went to another jeweler and they replaced the battery in about 10 minutes flat, INCLUDING CLEANING IT AND ADJUSTING THE...

Murad, the owner, has polished pieces, put new jump rings on pendants, resized rings, and even done much more complex things like replaced a glass stone in my mother’s college ring with a lab sapphire - complete with new reinforced stone setting - and brought the ring back to its original glory. He took a silver bracelet that had very complex links and shortened it at my request - you’d never know it wasn’t originally that length, the repair was so well done. Recently, I purchased a custom piece of his for my 25th Anniversary; a gorgeous floral ring that I’d been eyeing for a long time. I love it! He is kind, soft-spoken, and meticulous. His prices are reasonable and he works quickly. I’ve sent friends in town to him for work on their heirlooms....
