Shimi Angel is the best for coloring, especially if you’re a blonde! I’ve had many hair stylists in the South Shore area over the years, and Shimi is by far the best!

For years I’d stick with the same hairdresser - eventually realizing that I am paying these people for a service - yet every time I leave, my hair does not look how I requested. Eventually I realized that I was simply setting for less, and I decided to try the Vagaro App and find myself a new hair stylist. I definitely lucked out because I happened to book an appointment back in February with Shimi Angel and I haven’t looked back since!

Shimi is the best. I actually won’t let anyone else color or touch my hair. Not only is Shimi an amazing colorist, but he is always full of positive energy, great conversation, and gives the best advice. Shimi l makes going to the salon such a great experience. I’ve been to him twice now, and I will not let anyone else color my hair.

If you are blonde, looking for a classy/sophisticated look, don’t settle for whoever is doing your hair now that you pay and are not truly happy with the results. I fully trust Shimi with my hair - and he always makes sure that I leave the salon looking and feeling like a million bucks! Would highly recommend to family, friends, and anyone in the South Shore area looking for a top notch hair stylist that you can depend on and trust with your hair color. I don’t normally write reviews but feel like I need to make sure others know about this salon:

Shimmi talked the entire time relentlessly through my haircut. I was physically exhausted after. He didn’t ask me one question, he didn’t stop talking to even let me speak.

He talked so much he forgot to put toner on the whole bottom half of my hair. He told me he broke his mirror and couldn’t show me the back of my head as I was leaving. He stopped mid blow drying me and pulled one of his employees in the back in which I could clearly see he was distressed about something right before this.

It cost me 200 to get it fixed. I called to get a refund after showing him a picture and he sent me 25.

When I was there other topics that came up: 1. Shimmi uses a system which helps him get rid of low star reviews, this is why you see so many high ones tied to his salon, he thought he was very smart telling me this. 2. He asked his own employee if he was using the formula on my hair correctly (bit concerning from the owner of the salon) 3. Someone else came in the same time as me to get their hair fixed from another hair color he must have made a mistake on.
