Building Products — Local services in Sharpsburg

I've been shopping here for 10+ years. Even as a contractor that does NOT specialize in masonry or landscaping, I have always received excellent and helpful information from the staff. Everyone is very friendly and knows their stuff. Delivery drivers are great in the city, and have had no trouble getting into some of the tight spots I've had them drop stuff (in east liberty and Garfield).

They are my go-to for bulk sand, soil, mulch and gravel. I've had deliveries up to 10 yards/tons, and picked up quantities as little as 1/2 ton in my trailer. they also sell by the 5gal bucket, which was great when I was getting various gravel for a small 'sand + rock box' for my kids.

If you look around their yard, you can tell they take great care. Trucks are always clean. Stacks of material are never disheveled or precarious. They are quick to help you load your vehicle. (This is worth mentioning, because it is not as common as it should be at some supply yards.)

I appreciate the service I get, even though I don't have a huge commercial account... I know some of their larger commercial customers spend as much there in a day as I might in 6 months.

Also wanted to mention propane refills, rock salt, waterproofing/French drain accessories, sched40 pvc pipe and fittings, steel lintels .... because I didn't realize just how many different things they carry...

Needed 6 yards of mulch last minute , the supply shop near my location was out of this color , and needed two days to restock , so called here talked to Steve, and had it ready before we backed in . (Good fellas) ,and delivered what we couldn't fit into our dump. They didnt say a word about it being after store hours, and I was able to keep my promise to my customer.
