I was a long time customer since their opening and in the past year, I've ordered their chicken wings (3) times. The first time, chicken was raw and couldn't take it back because I'd taken it to work for lunch. Tried to re-cook in the microwave but to no success. I just pitched them and told the owner the next day. I chalked it up as a loss and didn't even get an apology.
The second time ordering the wings, needless to say that they were raw also. I did re-cook them in the oven and they were properly done but had a spoiled smell to them. I threw them away and notified the owner to tell him about his mistake. All he said was " I'll do better next time" and never apologized AGAIN.
The third and last time I ordered from them was another episode of raw chicken wings. Again, took them to work and come lunchtime, raw wings. Called the owner the next day to explain the ongoing problems and never tried to fix the situation. No apology, like I was beneath him. No refund or maybe a 10% off next order.
I spent a lot of money at this place to be treated like trash. I only live three blocks away and I would get delivery and tip the mother and sometimes the owner 5-10 dollars EVERYTIME.
By reading a few reviews and hearing from Black folks in Sharpsburg, it seems like they're prejudice against us so I tell EVERYONE to take their business elsewhere like Jimmy Wan's, Taipei or Ichiban in which they have better quality of food and their prices are the same as Dragon Palace. Please do a price comparison before you spend any more money at Dragon Palace.
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN WINGS AT DRAGON PALACE OR YOU RUN THE RISK OF GETTING SEVERELY SICK OR WORSE AND BLACK PEOPLE, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS...

Dragon Palace is one of the best and most reliable Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh. The food is always good, fresh and the correct temperature. They also always deliver safely ---even before COVID they went above and beyond in terms of sanitation with delivery, wearing gloves, etc.
They are always quick and it is convenient that they have a pick up window.
There have been a few times where there were issues but every single time they made it right and went above and beyond. Ex. One time a soup was forgotten -- before I could even open our order they were calling and letting us know their mistake and that they were on their way. Another time I placed an order, but they realized when I went to pick it up that they forgot to make it/didn't see the order come through. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait for it, but they quickly delivered it to me with no fee. Even when something isn't wrong they have checked on us --- we were splitting up an order in the car to go to two separate houses and the owner got my attention because she thought we needed something/something might have been wrong.
The staff is also always so kind. You can tell it is a family owned business
Few favorites have been the wontons, wonton soup, noodle (Udon, lo mein, cold noodles) and chicken dishes (General Tso's), egg rolls. Their lunch specials are so reasonably priced and in general portions are either good for sharing or for leftovers.
Have ordered with multiple people and there hasn't been one person who had anything...
Read moreIf I could do zero stars I would. First off the food we received (chicken lo mein) and (amazing chicken) was disgusting. The amazing chicken was extremely fatty and the chicken lo mein was so over cooked it was like a thick paste and slimy. I called the restaurant and the first time the guy hung up on me. So I called back and asked for a refund for my order and he said the female delivery driver will have my refund in cash. Once the delivery driver got back I was very polite and she asked me what was wrong with it and opened it in her car and I told her it just didn't taste very good to me. She said then why did you order it. I told her I wanted to try it. She then continued to tell me she has other customers who love her food and told me to not call back anymore and that she did not need my business. She was overall rude and made me very uncomfortable. I called the store back to explain what happened to try and see if there was anything they could do and all the guys had to say was okay thank you and hung up. 10 out of 10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER ORDERING FROM THERE.
EDIT TO REPLY: My coworker and I tried your lo mein and it was awful. You have poor customer service. I will forever let people know not to order from someone who said "don't call...
