I took my Stihl shredder vacuum into Higginbotham hardware this morning. I was standing in line behind a couple who brought in a Stihl chainsaw. I saw a man there by the name of Chris working very diligently to complete the repair on their chainsaw. I stood and watched as he worked on it and eventually got it running perfectly and handed it back to them at no charge.

I was next in line and presented him with my shredder blower and described the problem. He immediately went to work on it and within 30 minutes, had it running like new. I am writing simply to express my appreciation for this man who demonstrates technical understanding of the product he sells, but equally important, high quality customer service. That’s a combination of skills not always seen in the retail domains.

So I go into the store today to buy a water timer, price on the packer says $12.99, go.to çounter and tge rude clerk seems upset impresent my military ID and Veteran tax exempt certificate for use. Clerk rings up purchase and it shows $17.99, I tell her the price on the product, run back grab the que and preseent it to her. She adjust the price, tells.ke the total which does not include my discount or tax exempt status. She then explains I cannot get a discount because she has to reduce the price to reflect the price on the que. Come on, what type of service is that? I will no.loner give this place my business,...

The cashier and associates in the store were very friendly and helpful. However, the big fella that had to cut rebar for me could not bare the heat for 10 mins to cut all of my rebar. You get to be inside a good portion of the day. I know it’s hot but honestly, 93 isn’t that bad for a few minutes. I work in it all day every day. If you can’t do your job, find a...
