I've been sitting on hold trying to get a hold of the pharmacy for the last 40+ minutes and the machine keeps saying that there's more than 3 callers ahead of me. This tells me that no one is being helped and no one is bothering to answer the phones. There is no excuse because even an understaffed pharmacy has the intellect to answer the phone and explain the situation instead of just pretending customers aren't calling because you don't make time for the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never recommend this company for any reason ever.
Update: Stayed on hold for over 3 hours and still never got to talk to an associate. The most disappointing experience but I can't say I'm surprised. As a working retail pharmacy technician, we call this Walgreens store all the time to transfer prescriptions for patients and often sit on hold for long periods of time. We've ran our shifts short-handed and very busy more times than I can count and I still can't tell you that I've left a patient or anybody on hold for 2 and 1/2 hours or more ever. There is no...

You will arrive and the pharmacy will be closed and your kids will have to wait until the next day in pain because the closest 24hr pharmacy cant pull the prescription since this pharmacy is closed...or 2. Be prepared to arrive only to find out a portion of your prescription is now waiting on a doctor confirmation only to have to spend hours on the phone arranging for that confirmation to then drive back into town in pain to arrive and to wait a hour for your prescriptions to be ready (that were supposed to already be done) oh and not covered by your insurance because they have you listed under a doctor who you havent saw in close to two years..its like this every time and has been for years to the point to where you basically have to take the entire day off work to work around Walgreens schedule...best advice: call in advance, then call again, then call your doctor just in case and then call Walgreens one more time and save yourself the headache. If the walgreens brand is to give poor customer service and have the worst attitude possible, then keep on trucking. I believe her name was Cynthia, she was so hateful to the person in front of me over reloading a card and the way she spoke to this man was so uncalled for and flat out hateful. After she cut him off and then walked away from him, while talking, she took customers over at the photo center.
