Walgreens — Local services in Shelburne

This pharmacy has been closed for 3 days. It is bad enough it is closed on weekends but it was closed on Monday July 25 as well. It is unacceptable to be instructed to drive another 6 miles to resubmit Rx orders that are sitting ready at this store for pick up. We live in the most populous county in Vermont yet it increasingly feels like we live in rural America. There must be more Walgreens can do to staff this location- incentives? OT bonuses? What is UVM doing in training to address this local scarcity of pharmacy and clinical talent? So very very frustrated and disappointed. Rite Aid ran this place so much better. This Pharmacy/Store is wonderful. To meet my standards, is fully operational and has everything in stock that I'm personally looking for. Pharmacy is great, GREAT service and professional. Very knowledgeable about the "What ale's you." Pharmacy manager with brown hair is always wicked rude to me. Have lived in Shelburne six months and not once have any of my meds been in stock when my doctor sends my prescriptions in.
