I brought my 6 year old daughter here to have her ears pierced. To say this was a good experience is an understatement. Nicole is beyond kind and patient. She pierced my daughters stuffed animals ears that she brought with her. Then she had my daughter give her permission to do everything so she was always felt like she was in control and it was done on her timeframe. "Do I have your permission to touch your ears?" "Do I have your permission to clean your ears?" "Do I have permission to pierce your ear." After she did my daughters first ear she waited until my daughter was ready to do the next one. She never rushed her or pushed or anything. She'd talk to her and ask if she was ready. If she said no she would act like that was wonderful and no big deal. My daughter and I had the best experience ever there. Not only was the experience great but she was so knowledgeable about the whole process. We all felt so comfortable having it done there. I took my daughter to get her ears pierced here and it was an absolutely amazing experience! They explained the whole process to her in a kid friendly way, including piercing a stuffed animals ears so she could see how it was done, and asked for consent at every step of the process, making sure that she was ready and willing the whole time. When they didn’t actual piercing they did both ears at once and were so quick and smooth she didn’t cry at all! The whole not downside to the process is that you have to have a notarized consent form and a birth certificate for a minor ear piercing, which is a Kentucky policy, but isn’t common knowledge, so it’s some extra steps to complete before the piercing can be done. My sister and I went to Moonstone tattoo and piercing parlor on two different occasions: one for piercing and another for tattoo. Both were amazing experiences. The piercer, Nikole, was very skilled and she communicated very well which made the whole experience of getting a septum piercing a breeze. The atmosphere there is killer and so is their work. The tattoo artisit, Stephanie, has done four of my tattoos now and they each came out better than I imagined and heal wonderfully. Her work is precise and you can really see the large amount of effort she puts into her pieces.
