I knew this place was not the best idea, but I needed a u joint for a PTO shaft on an auger bit that attaches to a tractor. Rural King did NOT have it and offered no help or other solutions, however at this store two (2) young men saw the part and we all knew it was a puzzle. They took the time to get a micrometer (measuring device) and searched the web and their data base for a U Joint that would work. They had to cross reference a part # and had it there at the store in 2 hours. I think these 2 young men did a great job and O'Reilly's needs to clone them. Quick, & courteous service. Purchased a battery, I wish I'd gotten the young man's name, bc he & his manager needs to know that he had done a wonderful job! I sincerely appreciate that he installed my battery on a very cold, & windy day. It wasn't a typical pull the old battery core out & pop in a new one. My truck has both a bar, bracket & a battery box, which is a pain in the rear & the fact that he was so willing to install my battery. On 3/15/2021, I called several mechanic places for a battery that fit a 2014 Ford Escape. Everyone was charging ridiculous prices and even more for labor due to the placement of the battery. I called O’Reilly and spoke with Zach. He went above and beyond for my mother’s car. He stood out in the freezing rain and spent probably 45 minutes trying to get my mothers battery out so she wouldn’t have to have it towed elsewhere.
