Waffle House — Restaurant in Kentucky

If I could give -10 stars I would. This was the worst marvel house I have ever went to in my life. We sat down at the little bar in front of the kitchen area, and the cart of nasty, dirty dishes sat in front of us the entire time and the rails on this cart were thick with grease and dust. It was absolutely disgusting, our food was even more disgusting. My grilled cheese was soft and the cheese wasn’t even melted on it. I sent it back and it came back, looking the same way and I was already so disgusted by the grease and dust that I was sitting in front of that I didn’t eat anyway. my husband’s chocolate milk had chunks of ice in it where they freeze it and then don’t even bother thawing it out. my six-year-old son got a waffle and he ate and seemed to like his so I was happy about that but I tasted it and it really wasn’t good but he said years old so we don’t usually think the same things are good lol I do not recommend ever going here. The servers were not very clean And the place was just ran awful like it’s really has turned me against waffle house and that will be my memory every time I think about going to the Waffle House and I have a lot of waffle House memories. Nothing! The worst food we have ever had!!! When our food arrived our orders were mixed up! Bacon was burnt on one end and undercooked on the other, very greasy and had an odd taste. Toast was slathered with butter (???) that tasted sour. Eggs not cooked to order and tasted like old grease. Hash browns not completely done, onions were almost raw. The food all had the same odd flavor to it. The coffee and milk were good. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress took our recipient to the manager, which we never saw, and she was told to give us.a ten percent discount. We didn't care about the discount!!! And apparently the manager didn't care about us because he did not make any effort to talk to us about our food. The waitress was fine. I am just dumbfounded by the terrible experience and food... it will be a long time before I will attempt to eat at a Waffle House... this really burnt me!!! I noticed to other bad reviews... Do you follow up on bad reviews or ignore them. Sept. 22, 2015 there was a bad review, so I guess you do very limited reviews. And there are a few employees between the store and corporate... does it never trickle down to the store or up to...

This visit was just unacceptable. We called ahead to see if dine-in was available as we've had issues with this in the past. No one answers the phone, instead we received a pre-recorded message indicating that to-go orders were only being accepted at the store and that we could either visit the store for dine-in or to place our order. We decided to go eat in the restaurant as that was our preference. We arrived and there was a couple finishing their meal at a table and as we walked in to find a seat we were told that they were only offering carryout at the time. We asked why and explained that we called ahead to confirm that we could dine in and no one answered but the recording indicated that we could. The server said sorry but offered no explanation. The couple at the table shortly stood up, paid their bill and left, as did we, without purchasing anything at all. I called the store immediately after leaving and the phone rang for about 45 seconds before it just dropped. Completely...
