Lloyd Ralston Gallery — Local services in Shelton

I have over 1000 toys in my collection which I have collected over the past 30 years. During this time I have associated with hundreds of buyers and sellers of antique and classic toys. Without a doubt Lloyd Ralston Gallery is the most unscrupulous individual I ever dealt with. After bidding on a toy with an ambiguous listing, I paid for a broken toy which included the buyers premium and an exorbitant shipping charge. I questioned Ralston Gallery about the broken toy and he said to send it back and he would get it repaired. The return shipping would be reimbursed by the Ralston Gallery. After two months and four phone calls, the toy was returned still broken with additional damage and some of the parts missing. Included in the return package was a note that I owe Ralston Gallery additional money. The return postage was never refunded. For those individuals considering dealing with the Lloyd Ralston Gallery, I would advise that buyer BEWARE! I intend to file a complaint with the Connecticut Better...

This was the worst interaction I have experienced with an auction house and auctioning platform. They list items as c9, c10 and they're really c7. The pictures will show one side of the item that looks not damaged or scratched up in the photos. Then you receive the item and it's scratched up on one side. They do not TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR NOTHING! They misrepresent alot of their products listed. I have purchased collectibles on other websites and platforms where ACCOUNTABILITY is a priority. If they lie or misrepresent an item then it's your choice to return for full refund and not the auction house trying to send you a replacement or another item in it's place; which they're trying to bs you until the 30 days is up. They do not respond to your concerns or questions until days later or after several days when you contacted Live Auctioneer support; which they are not helpful either.
