Shelton Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Shelton

If I could pick zero I would. Spent over 100 bucks on pizza and they could not get it right. Made the mistake of using the slice app which I am deleting right after I review because “there hands are tied if the restaurant says they prepared it correctly”. Cheese pizza, olive pizza and pepperoni pizza were ok.

Penne ala vodka tastes like straight white wine.

Palace calzone that is supposed to come with “roni, sausage, mushroom, onion, pepper,bacon, and meatball and cheese” forgot to add the pepperoni and sausage and used a dollop of cheese.

Seafood pizza forgot the seafood. There was only garlic on the pizza. No shrimp. No clams. It doesn’t even smell like seafood.

Save your money and order from a place with actual customer service. Who wants to keep customers. First time ordering from here. Never again. And now I’m never using SlICE again either. Who had this place rated 4.8 stars. Definitely fake ratings

Sadly , the "writing was on the wall" when I walked in to pick up my take out pizza. It had been a long time since I'd been there , but it's been here forever so I thought I could reply on the pie that I remembered......WRONG ! The place was a mess and there was no one in sight eating....most chairs were piled up on the tables and it took a bit for someone to show up from the back. I got my pie and went home , just knowing that this pizza was not going to be good . Of course I was correct. Sad state of affairs, it's bad enough that the Valley has been inendated with mostly lousey and over priced food venues but there are exceptions, of course. Pizza tasted bland with a hard biscuit crust , yuck !!! A simple cheese pizza should be excellent from a place that's been around this long. It was clear that the original owners walked away years ago. A shame , but nothing...

Love this place! Best pizza in Shelton. I read some other reviews and I am surprised anyone would not like this pizza, the crust is AMAZING! If you want the paper thin, burned crust from the other places around town, then don't go here and complain. Shelton Pizza Palace crust is amazing and the sauce delicious. I lived in NYC for 20yrs and never found a crust this good. More than once I ordered pizza shortly before they closed, when I arrived to pick it up they are there waiting for me to pick up so they can go home.
