Went there looking for a cord I needed for my computer and I found it but it didnt have a price on it so I went to pay 4 it and said it doesn't have a price. The lady with black hair working on 9/11/19 at 3:30pm said if it doesn't have a price it belongs to something. Ok that's fine. I told her where I got it on a shelf next to literally nothing it could possibly go to and got no response from her. She started going of doing god knows what. I thought she might have been looking for what it went to but she ended up nowhere near where I got it from. I proceeded to look for a different cord since it became apparent through her lack of communication that she wasnt helping me. Found a rack of cords and started going through them and noticed some of these also dont have prices on a rack clearly ment for cords that didnt belong to anything. So I asked this same lady if any of those cords that weren't marked went to anything and if they where for sale cuz I found one on the rack that would work but it also didnt have a price. Once again though I was ignored. So I told her and I quote! "Thanks for ignoring me. Have a nice day" and I left. Wont be back here anytime soon with...
Read moreAngels Attic was my favorite thrift store for many years. Reasonable prices and a wide variety of items. It's been my favorite place to donate items to as well.
After tonight, I will not be returning.
I was asked to leave because my two year old was having an emotional meltdown. Only 24 months old, he was crying because I wouldn't let him play with a toy that he could break. I moved him and my other children to the back of the store to minimize disruption while the baby cried. Two year old meltdowns rarely last long, and I THOUGHT the classic toddler tantrum was a universal childhood experience. He was not causing problems; Rather, he was sitting next to the cart crying, and my preschoolers were behaving flawlessly. An employee came back and asked me to "control" my child, and accused us of "disrupting the other customers". As a mom of five, I've been shopping with children for many years and I've never been so humiliated. I've gathered a lot of compliments (at stores and also restaurants) for my well behaved kids, but I've never before been shamed and humiliated. I hope it was just a case of a "bad apple" employee and not the value system of the...
Read moreUsed to be a great spot for decent clothes and shoes for me and my family, but now they have raised their prices. Way above average for clotges especially for furniture, which they expect a range from a $100 to $300 for small dressers that I can get at Walmart for 50 bucks. Why would I pay more for a used messed up dresser? When I can get a brand new one for only a quarter of the cost? When we arrived, they're closed sign was was surprising. Even more surprising when we saw customers walk out and immediately give us attitude towards me and my little girl, the lady must be having a bad day. If they want customers, they should lower their prices to be fair for used items and actually have their...
