Citadel Security hires some sketchy people? On Sunday night 8/10/25 there were two security guards working the property at the old VA hospital on Clermont. My friends brother who has been recently down on his luck went there to scrap for a few extra bucks. He said there were no signs posted that said " NO TRESPASSING" on the property? I've known this guy for awhile and to my knowledge has always been honest & hard working? If he had seen any signs,he wouldn't have entered? While inside there were 2 security guards portraying to be police officer's ? They unlawfully entered the building doing a search without higher authority permission? Their goal obviously was to use scare tactics on scrapers threatening them to put them in Jail if they didn't hand over all their tools & copper? When they approached my friends brother they used excess force? Pulling a gun on him acting like they were going to handcuff him & arrest him? One of the guards escorted him outta the building not allowing him to get his tools? While the other guard stayed behind steeling his tools & hopes of finding any copper? Her brother had just gotten there so he didn't have any scrap. Her brother sat outside of the property and witnessed them waiting for other scrapper's to exist the building steeling all of their copper and tools? Basically anything of value to make a quick, easy come up at another persons expense? Out of curiosity I did a search on the Internet to find out what a security guard can & can NOT do? From what I gathered a security guard is just a citizen like any of those other people who were breaking the law? However the security guards took it up a notch by pulling guns, using excessive force, entering the building that was supposed to be marked "NO TRESPASSING", doing a unauthorized search,& also steeling? In my book they were no better than the other perpetrator's that were breaking the law? No one is in the right in this type of situation. The only thing these Citadel Security guards were securing was their pocket books. It's so disappointing in these times now that you can't even trust the people who are supposed to be protecting your property...
Read moreI recently hired Citadel Security to manage security for an event I was hosting, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. Their team was highly professional, arriving early to conduct thorough patrols of the property before the event and ensuring everything was secure. Throughout the event, their presence was both reassuring and discreet, maintaining a safe environment without being intrusive. After the event, they continued their patrols, giving me complete peace of mind that the property was fully protected. Citadel Security’s attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to safety were truly impressive, and I would gladly work with them again for any...
