I have been looking for a while for someone local to the Denver area who could build me a new desk for my home office. There were a few candidates, but when I saw House of Alpine's portfolio on their website, I was instantly taken with the simplicity, elegance and quality of Mike's work. There is not a single piece of furniture that Mike has built that I wouldn't happily have in my home.

I reached out to Mike and he explained the process, timeline and approximate cost. And then he stuck to all of it - there were no surprises and the process went very smoothly. Mike had a few questions and gave great advice when I wasn't sure how to answer them. In short, Mike is a great guy, and made everything easy.

The end result is the stunningly beautiful desk that I'm typing this review at. It is easily the nicest object I own (until I order more furniture from Mike). Specifically, the design is incredibly clean, and highlights the high quality materials that Mike chose. It feels and looks great. It's incredibly solid - I have no doubt that it will out-survive me.

I found Mike using a Google search. I was new to the area and needed a new dining table for my smaller home. I don't want mass produced furniture so I looked for a custom builder who could make a unique table in Walnut. I emailed Mike and was elated with how responsive he was. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel pressured to commit. While I was looking for a quick turnaround, Mike explained he would do his best but quality cannot be rushed. This is exactly what I wanted to hear prior to making this kind of investment. Without ever meeting him, I submitted my deposit for 50% of the table and expected the table within 6-8 weeks. To my surprise, approximately 4 weeks later, Mike contacted me to let me know it was complete. We arranged a mutually convenient time and he personally delivered my table. The table was flawless and exactly what I hoped for. The materials he selected are high quality and his workmanship is fantastic. I don't usually leave reviews but wanted to share my experience so future customers would be comfortable making the leap I did. Mike is trustworthy and kept his promises. He will be getting my repeat business and I will be recommending him to friends and family who are in search of high quality furniture. Amazing!!! My wife and I just purchased our first home and we decided it was time to invest in a good dinning table. We searched just about every high end department store and custom builder. They just didn't meet our expectations. We came upon House of Alpine and spoke to Mike about our ideas. He even took the time to drive from downtown Denver to Broomfield to meet with me in person. He drew up some sketches and knew exactly what we wanted. He kept in close contact throughout the building process and was finished in just a two week time frame. It was a lot to ask for a 96X36 2 inch thick Walnut Dining Table however, Mike made it happen. He truly exceeded our expectations (which isn't easy because I am a perfectionist). In addition to building the beautiful table, the cost was hard to beat for the amazing quality he provided (the average cost for this type of table is $5000 anywhere else). We get so many compliments on our new table and are more than satisfied. I know this table will last for many generations. I can't wait to watch my family share many wonderful memories around...
