The doggo walkers' option to let 'em go free, aka "off-leash" is mine & Chance's favorite feature of this sweet little paved path park. Located off of Decatur St. between Union and Federal in Englewood, it's also a mighty convenient location for when I'm running to either of my storage units to grab supplies for my creative ventures. And, as it's harvest season right now, I adore the apple tree I found along the path, with all it's free fruit for apple-aholics, such as I am. Good people, who love Great dogs, bring boundless Gratitude for Gaia when visiting Centennial Park for a few minutes or all day! ๐Ÿ˜ YAY!

One of my favorite parks in South Denver as the people are very friendly and the dog owners always clean up after the furry friends. The path around the lake is one mile and bathrooms are clean and available from spring through fall. They do have a basketball court next to the playground and covered tables and lots of parking on the West,South and East side of park. They also have a couple of baseball fields and is right next to the Mary Birch Greenbelt I believe that's the name of it. My dog loves to swim in the lake and greet & meet new furry friends along the path.

This is a nice space but is surrounded by heavy industrial. The pathway around the perimeter of the park is great for walking and for bird watching. It is a nice length to get out and stretch your legs. There are a few other amenities here like a fishing dock, restrooms and two ball diamonds. The trail also offers some interpretive signs about the lake.

This is a great place!, Centennial park is a public park that combines everything anyone would expect or want from a city maintaned space. The lake in the morning is stunning, glass water most days with the reflection of the surrounding commercial properties and apartments somehow adding to the quite picturesque scene cascading back an unexpected cityscape that mirrors commerce and activity as our city wakes up and comes to life. Life that is ever present in its natural state around one of my favorite places on the planet. A puppies paradise circles the main focal point of Centennial with plenty to sniff and greet along the well laid out and peaceful trail.

Weekends are even better! As little leaguers warm up in the crisp oxygenated air, the dugouts, infield, and green green gras of thier field of American dreams bustles with activity. Parents enjoying thier favorite athletes moment in the Colorado sun can relax and breath. Play Ball! PLAY BALL Boys and Girls, we're all lucky to have you helo us to live out our memories through you, as your younger siblings enjoy the slides and swings on the state of the art, safe, and visible playgrounds and wonder how long until they will be able to take the plate at this amazing little league venue, when they will hear the command "Batter-up" and experience the warm cheers in the morning gleam.

Bring your rod and real Dads... there are fish to catch here at Centennial and there bitting! Tell Grandparents to enjoy the moment too (and keep in mind the bathrooms are clean and easy to use). GOOD MORNING Centennial Park GOOD COLORADO MORNING -the Centennial state is lucky to enjoy your...

I i increased the rating because see the staff has put in more trash cans! I want to commend them, because I called them on an unrelated manner and they were so nice and responsive. Itโ€™s great to live in a city where the govt employees are willing to help!

So, the park. Itself is more of a three star (still) because I mean look at other parks...but this park is disadvantaged due to itโ€™s location between a trash hauler, Santa Fe, Federal Blvd. and some rando haul place.

Original review

I or my dogs ๐Ÿ™„) am always finding old fishing line and food garbage packages close to shore- especially on the west side across from the apartments.

Of course, some irresponsible dog owners don't pick up their dog** either.

So, what could be a STELLAR community park is just so - so.

Nice that dogs can be off leash (seasonal check local rules) but honestly I partly blame the fact that trash cans are not common enough and the should put many down at...

This is a great park during the day! Playground with great slides, a really cool x-large xylophone & more! + Bathrooms are right there for the kiddos (and they are clean!), along with a water fountain, covered picnic tables & bbq pit. Even more, it is a dog friendly park with specific off-leash times & fishing is allowed. There is a cute little side pond, that the bridge goes over, that has crawdads, turtles & little schools of fish. Also, an additional pond, off the beaten path, that has beavers, a lizard (musta been let go by someone as they r not native- I'm pretty sure), turtles & ???? Definitely beavers back there though. .- there are ducks & geese to feed of course, 2 baseball diamonds & basketball hoop, and at times, there are beautiful, picture perfect sky scenes (minus the power towers lol). The only bad thing is the people doing drugs across the street from the playground sometimes & the smell of trash at times. ๐Ÿฅด But all in all, it's a really cool park with...
