I AM A CARD HOLDER FOR 3+ YRS NOW. DISABLED FROM STROKE & SPINAL CORD INJURY @ AGE 39! I SPEND $235.00 ON COLUMBIA FLEECE COATS & BEANIES LAST MO.. I RECEIVED $60 IN KOHLS CASH, WHICH EXPIRED ON DEC 8TH. I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO LEAVE MY HOUSE SINCE I MADE THE PURCHASE OF COATS, ETC.. *EXCEPT FOR BEING IN HOSPITAL AGAIN THE WEEK OF THE 8TH. IM FINALLY BETTER & CAN GO IN MY WHEELCHAIR NOW BUT WHEN I CALLED, I WAS TOLD I COULDNT SPEAK TO MGR THEY WERE ON BREAK. THEY WERE AN ASSOCIATE, WHAT DID I WANT. OK, WOW... SO I ASKED THIS LADY. SHE NOT ONLY RAISED HER VOICE TO ME, SHE SAID NO NO NO LIKE 5 TIMES.. TALKING OVER ME SO I COULDNT CLEARY EXPLAIN MYSELF. U CANT USE THE $60 KOHLS CASH! ITS EXPIRED! NO EXCEPTIONS, NO MATTER THE ISSUE..FOR ANYONE!! BEING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE U NEVER TAKE ANYTHING PERSONAL AND ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE COMPLAINT BEFORE RESPONDING, U DO IT WITHOUT ATTITUDE & CERTAINLY DO NOT RAISE UR VOICE TO THE CUSTOMER! The young girl in the back cs srv area wanted me to stand in front of her and I said "I'm fine here" not wanting to be in her face. All that was required was dropping the box and getting by slip. She was angry I didn't stand where she told me to and had a horrible attitude. I should have taken it back and returned somewhere else because I had a bad feeling. Some how my package went from her hands to not making it on the Amazon truck with the other returns. They did not refund my dad even with the return slip receipt I had and Kolhs refused to work with Amazon or me when we called to investigate saying their cameras don't go back that far. A simple questioning of the employee would have been nice but the more I wanted to do a proper investigation and the more I ask to speak to anyone who can help the madder they got at ME. It's like they knew what happened and didn't want any light shed on it. To make it worse, I returned another Amazon package months later to see what would happen. (recording everything) and a lady had the nerve to call security because I walked up to her and nicely stated I was recorded to protect my self and my return. (recording the ground at that). I didn't have to tell her but when I did she was furious. The managers at this store are horrible. The return associate "misplaces" a package and they blame Amazon...UNFREAKIN BELIEVABLE!    Read moreWalked in with a dog I currently have in training with my company and was approached by employee. She very rudely asked if I had service dog papers. Thatâs illegal. Against ADA laws and against the law. Then she asked if I had papers saying I needed a service animal. Wayyyy illegal. I told her no I didnât I am a dog trainer and thought you all were dog friendly Iâm sorry Iâll leave no problem. She told me the store makes her ask for papers. For one Kohlâs you need to know that is very illegal. You cannot ask someone that. You can ask them the alerts/tasks the service animal does but not for proof or papers. For two, according to ADA laws a service dogs does not have registration, papers, or even need to be wearing a harness. She could have just asked me first off if he was a service dog and if I said yes proceeded with her very rude question. He is not a service dog so I would have said no, and then I would have nicely left because I was wrong thinking kohlâs was dog friendly. But Kohlâs you need to address your employees on the laws, rules, and regulations of service dogs and go read the ADA laws again. One day that woman is going to ask the wrong person that question, who really needs their service dog, and it is not going to end well. For some people with service dogs that question could be the tic that sets them off. Just for future reference. I enjoy shopping here but I am hesitant now due to the lack of training the employees receive...
