
If there was a way to provide a review strictly for the management of the facilities and general professionalism of the staff separate from the actual equipment available CLUB4FItness would receive a zero star rating.
Here's the story:
So, I have a billing issue over the holidays and decide to call the front desk to clarify charges ($89 for 1-month) on my account. Keep in mind they advertise $35 / month for the premium membership. So obviously I call in to see what going on. The first person who answered the phone seems clueless and was unable to rectify the issue.
He passes me to the General Manager (CHRIS)who tells me 2x that late charges and any services fees can be avoided by adding a bank account. I suggest to waive the fees by adding the bank account. That's when he goes back and changes his story to state...oh we can't do that now, but maybe next time.
Once I noticed the fee seemed to be arbitrary and agreed to add a bank account the General Manager (CHRIS) choose to change the story. I questioned him for clarity and he began to get noticeably frustrated and quickly HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME.
Totally unsatisfied with the exchange I drove up to CLUB4FITNESS and to engage face to face in order to demand an apology - CHRIS the General Manager stated that even if he was being unprofessional he was fine with being so, because he served in the military. And furthermore he said he would beat me to the chase of cancelling my membership over a $9 late he could have easily waived.
I am truly disappointed in the lack of leadership, business savvy, and humility shown in a situation which could have been easily handled. CLUB4FITNESS has some of the best equipment but the issues of leadership and accountability are evident in the service and cleanliness needed to maintain...
Read moreI recently worked in the KidCare department at Club 4 Shreveport for about two months, and unfortunately my experience was very negative. During my time there, I personally observed repeated concerns with management and accountability in the KidCare facility. For example, there were instances where the manager would be away from kid care for extended periods of time, leaving her infant in the room screaming in distress. I also noticed clear favoritism toward certain staff members, which created an unprofessional work environment. Also repeated cursing in front of children. These concerns were not just mine, other employees had similar experiences, and several chose to leave for the same reasons. I believe it’s important for families to be aware of these issues when deciding where to bring their children. All of my concerns were documented and reported to HR. In my opinion, this facility needs stronger oversight to ensure that KidCare operates in a safe, & professional manner. The positive recent reviews have unfortunately been made to try and save that particular kid care manager’s reputation, but there’s are multiple former employees who are willing to come forward with reports filed and evidence that says otherwise. Read moreI’ve attended this gym since July 2022 when they opened and I never had a bad experience until today with the manager Serenity Jones. Full transparency… I had a payment issue with my account and payment was over due. I am human and I’m not embarrassed in the slightest.
INSTEAD of stopping me when I scanned into the gym or coming up to tap me on my shoulder and ask me nicely to come to the front desk to address an issue with my account… Serenity proceeded to 1) state my account was past due at least 10-15 FT away from me in front of others 2) snicker, smirk and roll her eyes when I showed her my attempt to pay on the app 3) dismissed me with a “goodbye” while I was talking when I called back regarding questions on where I could download a receipt about the charge.
Other things occurred but this post is already too long. As she put it on the phone she is “blunt” and there was not an issue with her behavior. At this point it’s a he said / she said debate and it is what it is at this point. When I asked for her name she gave it with a smile because she knows nothing will happen lol
Take a look at the reviews and you will find multiple 1 star ratings related to the rudeness associated with the staff here. LOVE the gym, and I will continue to go but for the love of God I wish a general manger would intervene and enforce some customer service training...
