County Market Grocery — Local services in Shreveport

Being that I live in Los Angeles and I was only visiting Shreveport, I can only speak about the one time and only time I shopped at this store. Personally, I found the prices of the food to be higher than what I paid in Los Angeles and I didn't recognize most of the brands. However, those that I did, I was surprised to see that they were on the cheaper side in CA but on the high side there. Take for instance, the cheapest carton if ice cream I could find was $4 and some change for a Blue Bunny. I can get blue bunny for a dollar at the 99cents store but there it was expensive. Ad said FRESH chicken quarters .37 a lb for 40 lbs. Saw numerous signs above frozen bags of chicken quarters. 1 for .59 lb (10 lb bag) another sign stating 40 lbs for 19.60. I asked 3 different employees for the .37 lb fresh quarters. All just pointed to above mentioned section. Finally one came over and said yeah you can have it for 14.80 for 40 lbs. I would not recommend the one off of Jewella Ave. There was a young hispanic lady obviously following me around the store, I could see if I looked suspicious or something but I was wearing scrubs, so what could I possibly put in my pockets.
