Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Shreveport

I had the worst experience with this Sonic Drive-in. I ordered a family size popcorn chicken and family size Tots for my family (6 year-old son, 8 year-old daughter, my husband and myself). The portion of the food was to serve only 2 and it wasn't fully cooked. When I called to speak to a manager, the night shift manager wasn't in the night of my order for me to speak to. So I called the next day and spoke with her. When I spoke to her she told me that I should keep my receipt and come in to replace my order. When I speak to the General Manager, she tells me that Sonic policy on how the portion the food is by a count on each individual food. I'm sorry but last I check, food companies don't go by the individual food count. Companies like Sonic Drive-in purchase their food in quantities and it isn't coming from your local grocery store. Not only that the GM also let me know that she was only going to replace 1 item the tots. I don't know about anyone else but this doesn't seem fair. I spend $20 bucks (once every week) at Sonic for my family and I get poor customer service and uncooked food. I'm sorry but this is ludicrous. My children love Tots but they strong dislike Sonic Drive-in food. The service from the GM let's me know that she don't need my money because Sonic Drive-in is going to pay her bills. I hope and pray that if I ever decide to go to another Sonic Drive-in that I want get the same poor service I received from Cissy at the Greenwood Road...

Second sonic location we went to today. The other one we left because we waited for twenty minutes without our order ever being taken. At this location the drive through was “broken” which we only discovered through someone getting out of their car and finding an employee. Maybe put a sign up? That took ten minutes. Then to avoid another battle with the red button kiosk we decided to pull up to the window and get an actual employee. Took around five minutes and a lot of back and forth to put through an order for one Oreo peanut butter milkshake. Miraculously after another 15 whole minutes they brought out our single milkshake. But alas why would we need a straw? So we waited at the window for a couple more minutes for the straw. Sonic owes me an hour of my life back. Update! Just tried the milkshake and it tastes like sour milk (wouldn’t be surprised if it is) so sonic also owes...

This is my favorite location to come to. So far I have been blessed with the same car hop most of the time and she is beyond awesome. I went yesterday and before I could realized she came with my food. But offered me a shake as the ice cream machine was being temperamental. I was so wanting that butterfinger blast and asked her if it was okay to wait since the young lady in side was working on it. She smiled ever so beautifully and answered yes maam. Next time i know here she comes with my blast and 2 coupons. I honestly didnt have to wait very long at all and was not expecting coupons but they gave them to me. They are always so courteous and have the most beautiful...
