This has got to be the worst Popeyes I've ever eaten at. You ever hear of 3 strikes you're out? Well I gave this one on the corner of Jewella Ave. and Greenwood Rd. 3 chances. The first time I went through the drive through I was told to give them a minute. I waited 15 and they finally asked me what I wanted. I told them the 16 piece and they said they were out of chicken, so I left. What kind of place, that operates on selling fried chicken, runs out of chicken? Second time I went the intercom exchange went a little more smoothly, but then I'm told they have to cook the chicken because there was none ready. Which is all fine if not for the fact I get home and the biscuits look like they were dropped on the floor and kicked around before being given to me. Today I tried to give it one last shot. Didn't go well at all when I place my order I'm told they only have 2 sides available the fries and the potatoes and gravy. I then asked if they made the other sides or had it delivered premade. They told me they make it. Seeing where I was going with the question, I was then told it was the containers that hold it they were out of. So I make do with the fries and potatoes and gravy. I tried to place a second order for the chicken sandwich and was told they were out of sandwich stuff. When I get home the biscuits were great this time... However the chicken (from a restaurant that cooks chicken all day every day) was inedible. The skin on the chicken, which is my favorite part of Popeyes chicken, was hard as a rock. Just so everyone knows I don't have a personal vendetta against Popeyes. As a matter of fact Popeyes is my favorite chicken restaurant. However this particular one needs new management. It's poorly managed and some of the staff needs retraining (if they were even trained at all). I just hope someone higher up on the Popeyes team sees this and makes the adjustment. Because, this particular location is making me hate Popeyes. It's really a good restaurant when the staff cares about their jobs...
Read morePassing through from Florida headed back to Texas. We stopped to grab some of the best chicken in the world. But before I ordered through drive thru, my husband and I needed to go in and use the restroom. The inside was loud with a lot of playing. When we got back to the car to order our food the drive thru speaker didn't work so I had to remember our order and ordered at the window. When I made it to the window to place our order they were out of spicy chicken (no biggie). We had to wait about 15 minutes for some. Then after we paid for our order while waiting, they came to me and said they were out of beans and rice. However, we were still able to get 3 smalls instead of 1 small and 1 large.
The customer service was friendly but not that great. The lady took my order at the window but had to ring me up at the register toward the lobby. She had forgotten what I ordered 3 times. So that was a bit of pain to repeat to her.
Honestly, I didn't expect much from this restaurant due to the location and all of the excitement going on inside. But it HIGHLY LACKS professionalism!
Would I come back? "yes" Because my expectations of this restaurant is not high; just long as my food continues...

I was 5th person in lines so I realize I would have a little wait that didnt bother me until it got to be 45 minutes and people in drive through placing 10 piece order was getting their and people coming in getting their still I waited. Finally I had enough so I asked for my money back and this cashier telks me I cant get all my money back, my order was 32.00 she said I could get up to certain amount. I asked then to speak to manager he said it was company policy they could only give me $15.00 I would have to write the company for rest. There was few words. I told him you mean I gave you $32 havent received anything from you and now you telling me I cant get all my money back. So my choice was to walk out with out any thing, accept what money I could get back, or wait some more for order that was placed now almost 55 minutes.
