I am here working in Shreveport Louisiana from Chicago, Illinois. Was looking for a good Chinese food for a Friday night meal.So this place showed up with the best spicy shrimp fried rice.I drove 10 min from my hotel since the power was out there (that for another review) . Place my order for the shrimp fried rice and mongolian beef. The fried rice is simply vegetable rice that they added shrimp to the dish. I'm not saying it wasn't edible, but definitely not shrimp fried rice. The Mongolian beef had a few pieces of beef but mostly onion and peppers. They gave it to me in a styrofoam container versus a container that wouldn't allow the gravy to leak out in the bag. I believe presentation is everything as well as taste. You never know some of your customers may become returning customers in the future if it is done right. The establishment could stand an upgrade if not just a good cleaning. I don't think I will be visiting here again...
Read moreWell let's just say it's pretty sad when they remove your review and its was due to them racially discriminating. Long story short they had a restaurant on mansfield road that was the best chinese food on this part of town until they closed due to the economy of course I'm going to go to the second location only to have the food filled with sooo many MSG feelers in it and it just tasted wrong. I took it back to the store to ask them why the food was so different and the Owner proceeded to say that black people and white people taste food very very differently and that the food that they make there at China Hat black people just like more fattening food and of course I was just distraught. So I got my money back said I would never come back. And of course my other comment is gone and yes I will keep posting this until they stop deleting it. The public deserves ALL REVIEWS. NOT JUST THE GOOD ONES. THAT'S CALLED FALSE...
Read moreI had never been to this location's before. When China Hot closed, I was looking toward finding another Chinese food home restaurant and ended up here. When I first walked in, a little boy behind the cashier's desk took my order. I thought that was so neat that they were starting the little boy off into working. He could not have been no older than 7 or 9. He handled my order and credit well.
The service was quick; the food was OK, but I honestly felt like people (customers) were watching me. It's situated around other stores, like it's squeezed into a corner of it. I wouldn't come here during the night.
__Aware of the name of the store. Just a typo....
