Querbes Park Golf Course — Local services in Shreveport

I’m a beginner golfer, and found this course a bit loud for a quiet round, the course equipment was the center stage for this round, from the mower to the leaf blower. Couldn’t enjoy the natural sounds of this park like very beautiful course. I must add the leaf blower was in front of us the whole time.

I’ll finish this review with I wish it could have been different because this is a gem of a course for Shreveport.

God knows Shreveport needs to keep and maintain the few gems still here in Shreveport.

I do need to add that the leaf blower did help us find a ball but it was in the leafs that he blew around.

I’m finding that this review is not very helpful because I’m on the fence about it. I hope lunch is better.

I would like to add that we did eat lunch at the club house and had the BLT and it was delightful.

I will give this course another go at it as it’s deserving of a second...

-5* A buddy and I showed up around 5:30 one afternoon to play. We asked for twilight and a cart. The cart cleaning guy is sitting in the club house and immediately starts bitching, " Yall aint gon be able to play, and them carts need to be in by 8 o clock i aint gon sit here all night waiting for yall to play" they charged us 26 bucks. Everywhere I've ever been twilight is play until they ask fore the carts back... Not here obviously you pay 26 bucks for 9 holes and for the workers to act unprofessional. This is not a place i would recommend. I played here 4 times a month for the past two years. Ive left things in the cart (watch, speaker, sunglasses, and range finder.) gone back 20 minutes later and no one has seen the items anywhere. This place is a Joke. The old management was so much better. Hire professionals since yall want to act like this is...

Simply put...this is the worst course I have ever played in 35 years of playing golf! Wife and I played, cost us almost $85 to play, with a cart! This course isn't worth $15 a person w/cart!! I have played courses that were $15 that were 100 times better than this one. There is NO GRASS anywhere on the course! Not in the fairways, not around the green..heck, most of the tee boxes didn't have grass! Literally teeing off out of dirt or sand! Being from out of town, visiting Shreveport for a few days, at least I could kind of laugh it off as, "Eh, I didn't know any better!" But what shocked me? There were quite a few locals( i assume regulars) out playing!! Which means they have played this atrocity before (probably many, many times), and they COMEBACK AND PAY MONEY TO PLAY IT AGAIN!?
