Great food, great service. As you might have surmised, I have been visiting Shreveport and have been looking for good restaurants. This is a great ethnic treat. It doesn't look impressive from the street, but it had some great food with very kind owner/manager. I had the big plate that came with 4 grape leaves hummus, babaganosh and Tahiti salad. The grape leave plate comes with 2 sides. My friend chose the French fries and rice. Everything was delicious. The cook/waiter was very patient helping us navigate the menu and helped us. My friends mother wasnt interested in different food so she ordered some chicken strips and French fries. The restaurant was unassuming but clean. There was also an adjacent grocery store with tons of great food for sale like walnuts, dates, rice and even a frozen sheep in the freezer.. yep. You heard me right. In other words, come enjoy the authentic middle...
Read moreI am confused why this place has three names? (Al Noor, Al Quds, Jerusalem) I had rated this place a 4 star supermarket a few years ago when it was located far from its current location. They issued me a receipt with two items and a subtotal where I had bought several items and the total didn’t seem right. I had no way to know the price of each item I purchased. Not good for a business needing higher ratings in its new location.
Ok. I visited the location lately (October 2021)and noticed they issued itemized receipt for customers, an assuring sign of respect for customers. Thank you. Suggestion for the Management: Please update your site information on the...

The first time I stopped in, I bumped into the owner of a (very tasty) local Lebanese restaurant, so I knew I'd come to an authentic spot. You can find halal meats, wonderful pita bread, spices, baklava, bakhoor and bakhoor burners, dried molokhia (mallow) leaves, and seasonal items like fresh dates and fanoos lanterns and lights for the month of Ramadan. They especially cater to Palestinian flavors but not exclusively, and the staff are quite friendly. Fun tip, if you like German chocolate candies, they carry some of those too. Their restaurant section never seems to be open, (a pity, because their menu looked great,) but I'll be coming back for their other...
