Read moreThis is the way hardware stores started out to be years ago. A little bit of everything and A LOT of Customer Service. My Ace on Clark Road I have been going to it for almost 20 years - they know my name, my family and have watched my children grow- along with every new color of paint on their walls and the patch kits they've taught me how to use on their walls. More than just making keys and mixing paint, all the Ace Hardwares in the neighborhood are like a close by friend support system when you have no idea how to fix something but you are sure glad they know what they are talking about! And they do it with a smile... That's worth the price...

No return for the CASH I paid, and I said store credit is fine, but the girl said no returns after 30 days. That concludes my shopping at this ACE, or any ACE with that policy. Frkm now kn, it's Amazon, Home Depot or Lowes. No wonder those stores are thriving, and they offer better prices and selections too. This makes me sad, especially since I try to support local stores with cash purchases. Looks like I'll be donating this stuff to Habitat...
