Kohl's — Local services in Silverdale

I can hardly believe the last time I wrote a review for Kohl's was in 2021. Due to the length the old review was deleted.

My relationship with Kohl's regarding purchasing hasn't changed much. I still find a few items to buy from time to time. However, many more interesting items are available in the past year than I have seen in a long time.

They excel in organization, as the visual merchandiser creates attractive displays and coordinates colors effectively.

I enjoy the music played in the store; I appreciate how clean the store is, including the restrooms and the employees.

I often come across many t-shirts I would love to purchase because they are cute and reasonably priced. However, I've had a frustrating experience with 100% cotton t-shirts. They tend to shrink after the first wash, even when I wash them in cold water and dry them on extra low heat. Spending $17 or $18 on a shirt I didn't even get to wear once discourages me from buying more.

I hate to admit this, but even though I usually shop in-store first, I often turn to Amazon for particular items. It was a wise decision for Kohl's to establish an Amazon return area. When I return items to Amazon, and it's often I do that, I receive a 15% or 20% off coupon (even a Sephora coupon). When I am unable to use these coupons, I give them to other customers who are making purchases. To me, it's a win-win!

Regarding the staff at Kohl's, three (actually a couple of others I don't know their name) employees stand out to me: Derek, Molly, and Yati. I truly appreciate them; they are kind, caring, clean, and funny. Like most of the employees at Kohl's, each of them has a warm smile.

Overall, I enjoy visiting Kohl's, if for no other reason than to say hello to the great staff!

Most people know that Kohls is located at the Kitsap Mall next to JC Penney's.

I used to love going to this place. I actually used to work here when I was a kid. Love the clothing. Staff are okay. Some are a little uptight while others are very sweet.

There was a racist song being played over the speakers for all to hear. Very catchy beat but my son started singing with the lyrics and son asked me why would they say that about daddy or me when I grow up. while I listened I realized what they were saying and was thrown way off guard that this was being played at "Kohl's a family store!" 😬

Nothing wrong with freedom of speech and artistic freedom but at a kohls!? It wasn't tasteful, no induendos, just up front saying that a specific race was taking away everything from everyone else. very convoluted. I don't want to go to far into detail but it was really bad... shaming a specific type of person.

I told the cashier to keep my Kohl's cash and give it to the next person after checking out and making a complaint about the music they played over the radeo, she was nice enough but kept changing the topic. The concern wasn't addressed or complaint taken seriously.

I will not being going back after listening to the lyrics in what they play over the intercom. Not subtle words but very catchy, upbeat and repetitive. Literally just playing in the background of everyone's head like brain wash 😅 ha.. so fricken wild. Almost couldn't believe my ears!

I WILL NOT SHOP AT KOHLS ANYMORE. It's unfortunate because I like there clothing and stuff.. but this can NOT be deemed as okay in a family...

We stayed away from this stores for years.... the news did a really bad review on them so we took it a face value.... until my girl friend wanted me to put a ring on it... so for some reason we ended up there.... and as luck would have it there was a vera wang engagement ring in the show cast that happend to be a return and it normally wasn't in the store and only online.... well it was like fate.... not only did she fall in love with the ring... but the rings they keep on hand are sized 7 and this one just happen to be the 5.5 we needed... so we got a $2600 for $480 after the sale they were having. . . I would have spent all the money in the world but she loves this one.... and just to get everyone one the same page.... she didn't tell me we were getting married.... it just took me 20...
