My family and I went out to eat with my mother in law and it was an AWFUL experience. I called ahead of time to get on the list. We're a family of 5 plus a baby. I asked if we could be seated in a booth (due do physical disabilities & to be able to easily contain my disabled 5 yr old and my 18 month old) I was told they'd make note of that. When they called us up (20 minutes past the 40 minute wait we were told itd be) I saw on the iPad we'd be placed at a table. I said I specifically requested a booth. 2 out of 3 of the hosts pushed back and rudely said "we do NOT seat that big of a party in a booth so no". And they also said "there aren't any notes in here saying booth". We had 3 adults and 3 small children. I told them "we could easily fit in a booth no problem" they were finally able to fix it with attitude. We sat down and were greeted by Meredith. I ordered appetizers and 3 kids meals so we could get those asap. Next time she came around the adults ordered entrées. It took TWO HOURS for us to get 3 adult burgers. By the time we got them they were all cold and the bottom bun on my chicken teriyaki burger was soggy. My husband's fondue had already "set" and was cold & hard. I was able to turn the bowl upside down and nothing spilt out of it. Meredith was our waitress and far from please when it came to my mother in law being upset about her burnt egg on the royal red Robin burger. She ordered avocado on it as well and didn't get it. It was sent right back because the burnt egg. When Meredith took it back she immediately rolled her eyes and shook her head. She finally got the replacement. The new egg was put on the same burger so the burger was even colder than before and the egg was also burnt and also no avocado again. My 5 year old asked for more bottomless fries and it took about an hour for him to get more of those. My kids' drinks were never refilled not once. My husband's sprite was "refilled" but with water. We really wanted to try the donut ring tower off the desert menu but never got a chance because in the 3 hours we were there My kids were done and tired. We didn't have time to wait for what felt like would have been an additional hour just for desert. At one point after the first burnt egg Meredith randomly sent the manager over and he was extremely dismissive and just rude. He interrupted and interjected himself into mine and my mother in laws conversation did not apologize for the cold food and burnt egg instead chose to say "well you guys chose to come on our busiest day" as if thats an excuse? I don't know but from the moment we walked in and were "greeted" by the host was not a good experience and it just got worse from there. Next time we will either do curbside and not enjoy a sit down restaurant meal or just do...
Read moreSuper disappointed with our visit yesterday, honestly the only good thing about our experience was the fact that our server David was really nice. However, that's about all I can say positively. My family and I went to Red Robin to celebrate my brother's birthday, there was a total of 10 of us, 2 of which were babies under the age of 2. After a 30 minute wait for a table we were seated and we're asked for our drink orders. My husband and I each ordered a shot which took about 15 minutes to get to us. Once we made our order our family then waited an HOUR for our food to come out. We were told after we received our food that something in the kitchen had gone down and they were backed up. However, most of our burgers were cool to almost cold by the time we got them. My daughter's mac and cheese was cold and soupy, my hamburger was raw in the middle. I had ordered some pink but this was pretty much red (I didn't actually notice until I got home as I wasn't able to eat at the restaurant, both kids had come to the end of their patience by the time our food was served), and my husband's burger had become so soggy that he couldn't actually eat it. As soon as the food had come out we had ordered extra fries and my aunt had asked for them to start cooking her to go order at that time as well. Most of us ate what was given to us and 30 minutes later we never got our fries and my aunt still hadn't got her to go order. David did take my husband's burger off the bill but, on paying we found that we had been up charged for our shots ( we ordered one brand and were charged for a totally different brand which is usually more expensive, and now we were unsure as to what we were actually given), we were charged for 2 orders of garlic fries which would have been correct only we only received one, and there were appetizers put our bill that should have been on someone else's. By that time we were done complaining and trying to get things right, so we just paid the bill. My poor aunt on the other hand ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes to the already 30 she had waited for food that when she finally received it found it was incorrect. All in all my entire family ordered well over $200 dollars worth of food and drink and left disappointed and some of us even left hungry. This most likely will be the last time we celebrate a family birthday or even just go there to...
Read moreRed Robin for lunch? Sure why not! I feel it's been a couple of months since we last ate here. I can't lie, I have had issues in past dining experiences, I have also had pretty decent experiences as well. Today, like the last several times we have dined here we've have chosen to sit in the bar area. Matt was our server and has been our server almost every single time we've eaten there; he's attentive, friendly and knows his stuff; it is probably why we sit in the bar area. Today I ordered a BLTA Croissant; I had my qualms about ordering this, simply because the last time I ordered it, it lacked in many different ways. However, I had ordered this sandwich a couple of years back, and It was great! So I gave it a go, and at least I wasn't disappointed. I would rate it as being good but not great. The BLTA Croissant is precisely that, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado on the soft, tasty croissant, and my side was a salad. The little side salad had a few cucumbers, diced tomatoes, and cheese not much of anything but like most typical side salads; everything was fresh, and that was important to me! My husband had the Whisky River BBQ Chicken Burger and of course, Red Robins bottomless fries. The burger consisted of chicken, bbq sauce, crispy onions, lettuce, and tomato. He also rated his as being good but not great, the chicken piece that came on his burger seemed a bit rubbery, it was probably pre-cooked, and then before serving it, probably reheated it. The bar area of Red Robin appeared clean, no dirty floors or cluttered tables what I could see. People seem to be enjoying themselves. I have always found their menu a little bit overwhelming if I had to guess I would say upwards of 70 items on their menu, obviously, that is just a guess, none the less, I feel lost reading it and end up going with the same three or four items I usually order. The ladies room was dated looking but appeared mostly clean. Red Robin has its own parking lot, but if it is ever full, Kitsap Malls parking lots are within walking distance. If you decide to eat at Silverdale Red Robin and if you are able to eat in the bar, do so, Matt will totally take...
