The Bell and Raven — Local services in Simsbury

My family and I had a very nice time visiting this tastefully magical little boutique shop on the first day of summer of 2023. There are a lot of unique items here and I would imagine we might have spent a bit more time there, but I was on a lunchbreak and needed to get back to work. We found these singing bowls and Isabel, the store owner, showed us how to work them. Beautiful sounds. I would have loved to purchase them all but decided on this one. I really liked the sound, and more importantly... it played easily for me! Later, I was able to measure its primary note as C# and I looked it up. The note falls between Root Chakra: C and, Sacral Chakra: D. I'm not at all sure what that means (I googled it), but I still really like the sound it makes when it sings.

Items for sale rotate on a balanced schedule and you only need to wait just a week before you are pleasantly surprised again! There are classes, literature events, readings, skill building exercises and so much more.The owner and staff make your experience one that is hard to forget but in the most wonderful ways. The Bell & Raven also hosts Tarot Card, past life, and aura readings performed by various local sought-after mediums. Additionally, if you have the opportunity to sign up for a workshop to create or put your mind at ease for the new moon I strongly encourage you to do it!

Whenever I am feeling the need for inspiration, a recharge, acceptance, or just to be reminded of life’s simple joys this is my go-to spot!
