Walked in with my girlfriend hoping to buy some pokemon cards, we both enjoy the hobby and were both excited to get to open the new Collection box. However when attempting to purchase a box for each of us (as policy is one per person) a certain employee that has never not been rude to me when shopping (name starts with V & ends with R…) told me I could only buy one, after explaining the policy was 1 per person (and both me and my girlfriend wanted one and were both paying separate…) he proceeded to tell me he was the manager (which he’s not…) and he could pretty much make up the rules as he wanted. When asking him why or where this “new” policy was he just continued to repeat ONE, ONE, ONE, ONE, ONE and eventually very immaturely took my box and told me I couldn’t purchase anything. He was very rude, impolite and immature simply seeking a power trip as he always does anytime I visit. I wish I didn’t have to buy pokemon cards from this location but it’s the only one near to my home. What was at first suppose to be a fun and enjoyable time getting and opening pokemon cards…it turned into a very bad and unpleasant experience. 0/5 stars. I hope the real manger sees this, we just wanted...
Read moreVery disappointed. Left empty handed from the treatment. Associate was more interested in selling a Nintendo switch bundle than serving me also. There were two working. The main character kept shifting from me to the Nintendo buyer and I probably waited for about an hour before I found out they didn't have the item i wanted. I also has 6 other items I wanted but because of the big ticket item, I was put to the side more than one time. The associate was helping me and as soon as the man asked for the Nintendo bundle, he left me and ran over to him. The second guy was doing something at the counter. I'll never patronize them again. Profiling behaviors. Thank goodness Walmart had what I wanted even though GameStop should have had the item in stock considering it came out that day. I will let corporate know also.. Terrible service. The conversation was snippy to because he didn't want to go find the item like it was an issue because he had to make...
Read moreAs I entered the store with my partner today and no one greeted us, although there was a store clerk at the front and who I believe the manager is “Latham”. We asked the store clerk (i don’t know what his name is since he was not wearing a name badge) and he was very condescending. I paid for my partners product, it was a gift for him, and when we were walking to the door, the employee/manager “Latham” said “someone has to hold the bag” basically insinuating my partner should hold the bag since I (a woman) paid for it. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I mean, clearly my bar should be low since it is a GameStop. But the issue here is that they both think they can make snarky, passive aggressive comments to customers while the customers are still in the vicinity. There needs to be a higher up that should talk to these employees and show them how to just be an employee and be courteous to...
