*Update Sept 2021 - Paws N Claws did grooming for my 2nd dog ( 1yr old Morkie) for the first time. I first brought my toy poodle to Paws N Claws in 2020 and again earlier in 2021. Once again they were gracious in getting him in quickly (much easier to get an appointment with them than with my former groomer - which was 3 to 4 weeks out...). They listen to what you need, they are fast, their prices are fair. Their shop is clean, organized and orderly. They are simply professional. 2020 My toy poodle was much overdue for a grooming, and one of his long ears was matted - he was very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus shutdown, our regular groomer was closed, and even the groomer at our veterinarian was closed.
The good news was that the office at our vet recommended Paws N Claws, saying they were open for business. I inquired and was told that the groomer had completed appropriate paperwork to the state to be allowed to continue as an essential business during the April shutdown. I think this was a very smart move by this grooming salon - and a Godsend for me.
Since it was a Friday, I was set to make an appointment for the following week - but Paws N Claws was able set an appt for next day! They were professional in their method - they tried to limit access to one customer at a time in order to comply with social distancing.
The groomer (Tara) was professional and courteous. My dog had never been to this shop but they listened well to how I wanted his cut (I also showed a picture) and to cut his ears shorter than normal for a poodle.
Overall, a very good experience. My only slight complaint was that they were not done at the scheduled time - so I had to wait / kill time for an additional 45 minutes (dropped off at 12:30, completed at 4:15). But this was very understandable - they were very busy due to the situation and demand. They also apologized for the delay.
I am really thinking about changing to Paws N Claws as my regular groomer. They are professional, they listen to the customer, their pricing is fair, and they do wonderful grooming. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area searching for a...

I don't have to pull her in, but I have to pull her out! I highly recommend Paw N Claws for all your pet needs!! This past week has been really scary and difficult. Read moreSo after taking my dog to this groomer.. not only did it take 6 hours to get him back but they complained he was not sitting still well but he was in a cage waiting for his turn for 5 hours before receiving his cut!! As i walked in and was waiting for my dog (15 minutes to get someone to give him to me) i overheard the team speaking on how they could get a job done if people would quit calling asking about when their dog would be done … well maybe hurry up or don’t schedule all at the same time? my dogs appointment was at 10 and i picked him up after 4.. that’s ridiculous. NOW let’s get to the cut… the groomer told me he had no matting and could tell we frequently brush.. (as we do?) WELL.. he came back naked from head to toe. When i asked for a teddy bear head and paws.. All they could do was blame him saying he was fidgety.. well he’s a rescue and been cooped up for 4-5 hours waiting for his haircut? I would be more understanding if the groomers tone didn’t come across EXTREMELY condescending and just plain rude. 0/10 recommend. second and LAST time we are using this company. $90 for my dog to look horrible and have inner ear irritation (which was blamed that hair was in it from them cutting and hair still being in there? but NO they...
