I love TJMAXX...absolutely everything about it. My husband died in 2013 along with a friend of mine while we were on an outing together. I was the sole survivor. During the years of healing that followed my place of refuge was the Smithfield TJMAXX. I would spend an hour putting things I liked in my cart only to decide I couldn't spend the money so walked everything back where it came from. This ritual calmed my extreme anxiety and grief. Read moreTonight I went to TJ Maxx and I found a small glass Christmas Tree I thought it was cute, but I noticed there was glue at the bottom of base and the box was not in great shape actually unsealed. The price was 12.00 I asked the cashier if they could knock the price down because of the defect, she asked Amy who I believe was the supervisor and Amy said no! Read moreSo I don't really care for T.J.Max... the disorganization of the place makes me, well, nervous! On the flip side, the people who work there are very nice and appear happy...so the T.J.Max Corp must be doing something right?! Don't get me wrong, you can occasionally find a good deal or two in the store, but I am often so overwhelmed by the "chaos" of the disorganized isles by the time I get out of there, that the deals are no longer significant enough to go back for another year...
