Hubby took me here for our 5 year anniversary dinner. I had been talking about how I wanted to go for awhile and how it looked and sounded like a great place. Walked in and the hostess was very friendly and polite, asked us to wait while she answered the phone and before she even got a chance to put the call on hold another hostess came right away to help us. Hung up our jackets for us which was a nice touch and they give you a number when you are leaving to get them. The waitress we had was awesome. She was very sweet and genuine. The place was very busy and there was a singer doing Frank Sinatra songs who was fabulous. Our sangria was delicious. The appetizer tostinis were phenomenal and we got a cheese sampler to try which was pretty awesome. Just when I thought it couldn't get better my filet came out and melted in my mouth. Polenta was good everything was good and they had the best Tiramisu I have ever tasted. Would go back to this restaurant everyday if I could. By far my new favorite place to go. Great atmosphere, great food and friendly staff. Prices were a little high but for a restaurant like this honestly I'm surprised they weren't higher. Cheaper than Chapel Grille, the atmosphere was just as nice, and it was very cozy. Only complaint I would have would be that the bathroom stall inside was a little dirty when I went in there but it could have been the person in there before me so I can't say that's entirely the restaurants fault. This place is...
Read moreI visited Siena with a party of 10 and was very disappointed. Everyone ordered roasted potatoes (they do not have mashed) when the dinner came out none of the plates came out with potatoes. The side that was given was some sort of barely. When we asked why none of the entrees came with potatoes all of the employees were quite confused. Our waitress came by & said that she was made aware that they had potatoes YESTERDAY. How does a restaurant of this magnitude not have potatoes? It doesn’t seem like anyone knew what was going on. Somehow they found potatoes and brought them out to the table. Which at that point we had already finished dinner. I ordered eggplant parm. On the menu it states it’s breaded and baked however, it appears the eggplant was just floured and baked. It also tasted/ looked quite familiar.. just like the type of eggplant I buy at Dave’s market. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant. I understand things do not always go flawlessly however, the waitress could’ve let us know that they ran out of items and that they had to be replaced with something else. Instead, we were surprised when the plates came out and didn’t receive an explanation until sometime later. Lastly, the hostess was wearing a crop top which was very inappropriate for this style...
Read moreTried to take my friends and family here after my rehearsal. Called 2 months ago to make a reservation for 16 people. Had to jump through hoops and had a terrible experience making the reservation, but a manger (I don't remember his name) assured me that everything was all set and we would be taken care of. Was called today (a week prior to my rehearsal) and was told we needed to use a condensed menu, or we had to go into a semi-private room. When we asked how much the room was we were told by Christine (a manager) there was no charge, but in the next breath we were told it was $250. We tried to explain that all we wanted to do was eat, no big production was happening at the restaurant, just dinner. But it didn't matter, the manager started laughing at us when we explained all the issues we have had with them and how its important for us to have dinner with our family prior to our wedding. Absolutely ridiculous to be calling a week prior when the reservation has been on the books for 2 months. Poor planning on their part, if they don't want to deal with a big party I get it, but don't leave someone planning their wedding hanging a week prior to...
