Nellie's Sweet Shoppe — Local services in Smithville

I've been wanting to go there, but I have been so busy with work and social and community activities and everytime I wanted to go there on Sundays, they were close. I missed their ice cream. So, I decided to take my kiddo to Nellie's yesterday noon. She ordered the shake obut I had to order 2 scoops of strawberry and strawberry cheese cake because I didn't see the other flavors I used to order there. I was very disappointed with Nellie as I just could feel, sense and taste that everything was changed extremely. The quality, quantity, texture and taste of the ice cream were so horrible and worse than the Walmart and other store brands. It used to be delicious and good portions. I would not bring my children and treat my friends over there anymore unless they go back to their previous homemade quality, quantity and flavors. This is a small shop in the historic downtown of Smithville, Missouri. There are no public restrooms in the shop, but they have clean restrooms across the street in the park. They had Blue Bell Ice cream and an assortment of high-end candy and fudge. I only gave it a 4 star, because I prefer to see a full hand washing station in any place that serves ice cream.
