Verizon — Local services in Smithville

Went into Russell Cellular on October 3, 2021 to discuss a new phone. We agreed on the model phone and according to the manager, the new phones would arrive in about 2 week's which would be approximately 10/17. The manager told me she would give a courtesy call when the phone arrives. I did not recieve a call and patiently waited and visited the store on 10/23. I was told the phone had not arrived and she would make some calls to locate the phone and call me back. Again... no call... sooooo, again, I waited and visited the store again on 10/28... still no phone. She made a call and told me then the phone was on back order... So, I told her to cancel the order all together and I would find me a phone elsewhere. I feel I have been very patient and gave the manager every chance but it seems my business was not good enough to make the call when she said she would so, I'll take my business elsewhere. If you're looking for good customer support... Russell Cellular doesn't appear to be a good choice!!...

My phone messed up last night. The screen went blank for some reason. I went in for assistance and I was told that they don't fix phones there. The attendant wouldn't even look at it. I was told that I would have to call Verizon and I would have to wait about 2 weeks for them to get to me. I was told that I should just upgrade for $72.00. So I said to do it. My card ended up getting charged $72 and $87. Iwas never told about the $87 charge. I was assisted by Cody Pack and I would have to say that he was as useful as a box of rocks. I will never go through that again. From now on, I will go to Cookevillle or Nashville for assistance. If they don't do any better, I will get another carrier. We went to switch service from Consumer Cellular back to Verizon because of availability of connection was nowhere near Verizon’s. Dylan absolutely went to great lengths to reduce our bill.And help us to get updated devices.Dylan personally saw to it that we got the best prices and that our devices were up to task for our needs.
