Bought a $350 fly rod, went to the river and it broke on the 8th cast under a guide wrap, an obvious manufacturing issue. The next day went to exchange the rod. They wouldn’t exchange or accept a return even though it was purchased less than 24 hours earlier and obviously was sold with a major defect. This is outside the norm of fly shops and the first time I’ve ever experienced a local shop not trying to find a solution for their customer.
