Update: now the guy claims that it was the low value of the cards that was the reason why he wasn't buying them, and that he's surprised that I made my initial review. I made my initial review sir, because during our first interaction, you talked a big game about having knowledge of the cards, and being impressed about the collection we had. Then after you got back from your trip, you practically ghosted us, then after we had called you back, you proceeded to call us back while he was in the middle of his shift to tell him that you no longer had the money to buy his entire collection, and that you could only buy a few cards. Then, when he brought you over $239 worth of cards, you tossed aside every card worth under $1, then once you had a stack of cards worth $40, you were only willing to pay $13 for them. I'm sorry, but no respectable businessman offers someone only 1/3 of what a portion of their cards are worth. You offer them 2/3, and then make the last 1/3 in the resale. Also, you don't throw away cards just because they're valued at less than $1, because if you have extensive knowledge of the game, you know that those particular cards in question can be sold in bulk, and marketed that way to generate more foot traffic in your store. If you would've just been straight with us, and admitted to spending all of your store's budget on that trip you took, instead of insulting someone who has infinitely more knowledge on a particular item you sell than you do, then our interaction would've ended a lot better. The order was confirmed with an email but after a week without receiving a shipping email I called the store looking for an update. The gentleman told me they couldn't ship the swing for the 9.99 shipping that was quoted online and that my order had been on his stack of things to take care of. Commenting that he should have contacted me. He also shared that the item I ordered was likely out of stock. Said he would confirm and call me back. Shortly there after I received a email refund notification, but no phone call.
