Hey guys! I really hate to post something like this but I believe that it is very serious. Yesterday Sep 2nd 2023 my wife and I decided to finally try “JB Roadhouse BBQ” near walmart in somerset which I understand is under new management. I had a brisket sandwich, my wife had pulled pork and my daughter (3y/o) wanted chicken tenders.

I really enjoyed the brisket!! it was 10 bucks for a sandwich and it was very good!! I finished it in a second and then I wanted to try the chicken my daughter was eating. I took a bite and it felt weird. I had the sense to spit it and this is what I saw. FULLY RAW CHICKEN, we took it out of my daughter’s hand and we are now hoping nobody gets sick.

after a refund for the chicken and an apology from the cashier we were on our way. my only hope better training is given to whoever is on the kitchen because the rest of the food was pretty good but if I didn’t try it I doubt my daughter would have...

We tried to order the pulled pork special (only wanted one paid for two) and a brisket sandwich. They were out of Mac&cheese, bummer, so we order Cole Slaw & Mac Salad. We received applesauce & Mac Salad. Brisket sandwich was great a little chewy. We live ten minutes away so we opted to eat at home. when we got home our bottom buns were soggy on our pulled pork sandwiches and honestly we had to add sauce to them because there really wasn't any on it. We ordered the hot BBQ on it and I really didn't taste any kick. The meat was good and cooked well. Price was good and the dessert was tasty. I didn't hate it just leaving an honest review. We'd probably be back if we decided on BBQ last minute and didn't want to make it at home. Portion size was also very good...

Was in the area visiting from Pittsburgh.. always try to find the best local spots and let me say... this was the best bbq I’ve had in a long time. Placed an order over the phone and the lady was super nice. She asked me when I wanted it ready and I told her how long it would take for us to get there. The food was ready as soon as we pulled up. Love the drive they window. Very friendly staff. Got the combo meal for 2 with ribs and a half chicken. Tried both sauces. Macaroni and cheese, baked beans, baked potato and mashed potatoes and gravy. Every single thing was delicious. Even the little sweet rolls they served were the perfect accompaniment. 22 bucks to feed 2 people a large portion. Can’t beat it and will definitely highly recommend and...
