So this place was the best !!!! I was looking for a studio because all the other ones in Boston were weird till I came across this one. I called and Lilly was really nice and also gave me a special discount which was definitely needed. She also stay in contact with and was always available when i needed her. I would definitely be returning back for future shoots. Also the studio is really clean and well kept and there's a great stero there and good backdrops. Our original studio had a plumbing issue so we needed a space asap, and luckily found Somerville Studios! The space is really great, the cyclorama is really nice as well as the fireplace if you want a variety of backdrops. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We were doing a video commercial and used the conference room for script reading while we set up lighting in the main studio, it was a great touch for the client! The studio is meant more for photography as we did run into construction outside the door and noise upstairs, but we were able to work around that and record solid audio. Local photographer here! I booked this studio for a boudoir session I had and the models were soo excited! They loved the space and it was exactly what we were looking for! The glam area was perfect for the hair/mua (as well as cute candids) and the seating area was great for getting all of our props together and chilling out for a minute in between takes. The only tricky part was finding parking, but luckily, a spot opened up right in front of the studio when I got there! I will most definitely be coming back for...
